Ember Roloff Struggles To Accept She Didn‘t Get A Baby Sister
Ember Roloff‘s new sibling arrived, but she was hoping for a baby sister instead of a brother. Jeremy and Audrey Roloff’s four-year-old daughter is getting to know the newest member of the family, and recent photos show that she is pretty confused. What exactly does Ember think of the new addition?
Jeremy & Audrey Waited To Find Out Baby’s Gender
As we reported, Jeremy and Audrey didn’t learn their third baby’s gender until he was born this week. Throughout her pregnancy, Audrey was open about the ups and downs of not knowing the gender before birth. She specifically had a hard time coming up with baby names. She made predictions while she was pregnant, but of course, she didn’t know for sure until he was born.
However, the couple was able to wait and was very happy to welcome their new baby to the world. They announced his name, Radley Knight, along with his birth. Radley joins Ember, as well as one-year-old Bode.
Ember Roloff Learns Her New Sibling’s Gender
Ember is already getting acquainted with Radley, but she hasn’t quite accepted his gender yet. As it turns out, Ember was hoping to have a baby sister this time. Audrey documented the special moment where Ember and Radley met for the first time. She said, “Ember has been calling the baby a she my whole pregnancy so we kept having to remind her.”
The mom to three also wrote, “9 months of willing this baby to be a sister but she was still so sweet and excited when we told her it’s a baby brother.” So, it looks like Ember is still excited, even though she was hoping for a sister. Not only was she happy to hold the new baby, but she also didn’t want to give him up. Audrey revealed that Ember wouldn’t let anyone else hold Radley.
Maybe the little girl just needs a little more time to adjust to the new baby being a boy instead of a girl like she was hoping. With plenty of newborn baby snuggles, Ember might be over this pretty quickly.
