Growing up, the Welcome to Plathville kids had a pretty sheltered life. This means that they missed out on many things. For example, they weren’t allowed to eat or drink sugary foods. On the show, Ethan Plath was seen trying his first can of Coke in his twenties. Viewers were shocked to find out that he had never tasted Coke before. Kim and Barry Plath‘s kids had plenty of other restrictions while living at home.

Now that Ethan, Moriah, and Micah have all moved out, they have tried many new things. Ethan has tried drinking alcohol, Moriah is experimenting with her style, and Micah has taken on modeling gigs. In a recent episode, we also saw Micah give dating apps a try.

Over the weekend, Ethan, Moriah, and Olivia all enjoyed another big “first.” Read on to see what they did.

Olivia, Ethan, & Moriah Plath celebrate a big ‘first’

On Instagram, Olivia and Moriah shared a few photos from their recent “first.” They revealed that they celebrated their very first Halloween.

In her caption, Olivia writes, “We’re a bunch of happy weirdos celebrating our first Halloween together.”

In the photos, Olivia is dressed as the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland, Ethan is Buddy the Elf, Moriah is Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, and her boyfriend, Max Kallschmidt, is Peter Pan. One of their friends tagged along and dressed up as a ghost. Micah isn’t in any of the photos that have been shared so far. You can see Moriah’s photos here.

This comes as a surprise because Kim and Barry don’t celebrate holidays. However, because the kids have moved out, they are doing their own thing and deciding what’s right for them.

Welcome to Plathville fans applaud the kids for breaking the rules.

Fans are proud of Ethan, Olivia, and Moriah for stepping out of their comfort zone and trying new things. One fan writes, “You all deserve to be this happy.” Other fans can relate to them, as well. One fan adds, “It was my first night ever celebrating Halloween!! Conservative kid problems.”
