LPBW family gathers for matriarch’s August wedding
When TLC viewers first met Amy Roloff, she was married to Matt Roloff. Matt, Amy and their four children – Jeremy, Zach, Jacob, and Molly – starred in the first seasons of Little People, Big World.
Eventually, the kids all left except for Zach, and Matt and Amy divorced. After their 2016 split, Amy Roloff found love again with Chris Marek.
Despite not appearing on LPBW for years, all four of Amy’s children attended the wedding, knowing that TLC cameras were capturing the event for a special.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting news of when the wedding special would air, after rumors of a fall airdate. When can fans watch the big event?
TLC drops Amy Roloff and Chris Marek wedding special airdate
Amy Roloff teased a fall premiere of her wedding special, but TLC remained mum. Until Thursday, October 28, when they released all the info about the upcoming special. Fans won’t have to wait long to see the wedding. It will premiere in the second week of November.
E! News reports that the two-hour wedding special will air on Tuesday, November 9, on TLC. It’s unclear if it will also air on the discovery+ streaming service.
Throughout the summer leading up to the wedding, Matt Roloff showed the progress of a new building. Initially, fans assumed the new barn would host the wedding. However, it was later revealed that an older barn on the property was used instead, though the new building was complete in the nick of time.
During Season 22 of LPBW, Amy Roloff’s ex offered her the use of the Roloff Farms property to hold her wedding. She was reluctant but unable to find another venue due to the many wedding happening in 2021. Like many brides, Amy Roloff was planning a 2020 wedding, but the coronavirus pandemic delayed the nuptials.
So, instead, Amy Roloff married Chris Marek on August 28, 2021.
