‘Welcome To Plathville’ Spoilers: Does Kim Really Think Olivia Has ‘Evil Spirits’ In Her?

Welcome to Plathville from Youtube

Welcome to Plathville is on tonight and the drama between Olivia Plath and the rest of the family only continues to grow. Now, Kim is speaking on what she really thinks about Olivia and her ‘evil spirits.’

Welcome to Plathville spoilers

Anyone who watched Welcome to Plathville last week knows that Olivia divulged some interesting details about what Kim Plath thinks. Apparently she has said that Olivia is filled with evil spirits before amongst her fights and struggles with her husband. So what does this mean? Olivia says that in their religion that’s one of the most hurtful things you can say to someone else.

This week, Kim is opening up about what she really meant.

A producer interviews Kim and says: “Olivia has expressed that you told her that she had evil spirits.”

Kim doesn’t look too confused and she instantly starts explaining herself. Honestly, her explanation made it seem like she really did believe that Olivia may have some evil spirits, otherwise she wouldn’t be so ‘bitter’ towards the family.

“We believe that when people are experiencing bitterness, un-forgiveness, hatred, hatred of other people or hatred of themselves, you know any of those things, it’s the influence from the devil,” Kim says in the interview.

Apparently, this likely happened two years ago Kim explains.

“Um I can see where Olivia could have taken it that way. That when we said that she had bitterness towards us that knowing our belief system that she could’ve internalized that as being we think she’s full of evil spirits,” she says.

However, Kim does note that she just wants to talk with Olivia so they can figure out where things went wrong. Although, it doesn’t really seem like Kim is ready to admit any of her faults. Instead, she wants Olivia to talk about her own bitterness.

“I would love to sit down and talk things through with her,” Olivia states.

All in all though, Kim admits making Olivia feel this way isn’t quite what she meant to do.

“Not at all our intent, we just have a different view of it.”

Barry reacted too

Barry didn’t have quite the same reaction. The Welcome to Plathville dad was actually pretty heartbroken to hear what Olivia thought they thought of her.

“That’s sad that makes me really sad,” he starts somberly. “To hurt somebody and you…and like I never intended to hurt.”

So perhaps Barry really didn’t mean to hurt Olivia like that.

  1. I wouldn’t say evil spirits, but she has a nasty side to her which is the dominant side of her. She is all about self. Narcissistic acts are always present. She has single handedly destroyed a family. I would love to know about her side of her family. Where are they? Why are they never mentioned? Why weren’t they at the wedding? I bet she is disconnected from them also. She is very self-centered, and strong willed. The marriage is doom if Ethan tries to take control. He will have to live a life without his family, and always having to do as she says and to please her. That is a narcissistic personality.

    1. Olivia is very close to her family, they do not want to be apart of the show. And the show is not about her family anyway so why would they show them, duh! Also, they WERE at her wedding. The wedding that Kim took over and did her way otherwise, the Plath’s would not be showing up. Now, onto Kim, when she was Olivia’s age, she was boozing and laying up with men in college. I think she is projecting her deceitfulness and narcissism onto Olivia. Kim is the classic narcissist and needs everything to be her way or the highway. Micah, Moriah, and Ethan say that all the time.
