In another act of rebellion, former Counting On star Jill Dillard has inked her hand and wrist. This is something that her father Jim Bob Duggar likely wouldn’t be happy about. So, what exactly did she do, and what do fans have to say about it?

Over the past few years, Jill has been working hard to become her own person. She’s started wearing pants, gotten her nose pierced, enjoys an alcoholic beverage from time to time, and even sent her son to public school. Fans applaud her for breaking the mold and becoming who she’s meant to be.

Jill Dillard reveals her new ink.

In a new Instagram post on Thursday, Jill revealed she has some new ink to show off. She shared two photos. One is of her wrist, which has “Jesus only Jesus” written on it in pretty script. In the caption of her post, she quotes a worship song by the same name. As fans know, Jill and Derick recently opened up about their miscarriage. So, maybe she inked her skin as a reminder as she heals from the loss.

In the second photo in her post, Jill shows the top of her hand, which has “He is my peace -Micah 5:5” written on it.

Jill doesn’t reveal what she used to write these quotes on her hands. But it doesn’t look like these are permanent tattoos. However, many fans are confused and are trying to figure out what exactly is going on. Rather than permanent tattoos, it looks like Jill either wrote on her hand with a regular pen. Or she might have used henna, which is a type of dye that can be used for temporary body art. It may last longer than ink from a pen, but it isn’t permanent.

Duggar fans bash the idea of tattoos.

While Duggar fans like that Jill has these important words written on her skin as a reminder, many of them have negative thoughts about tattoos in general. One writes, “please read Leviticus 19:28.” The verse in the bible reads, “You shall not make any cuts on your body for the dead or tattoo yourselves: I am the Lord.”

However, some fans are arguing “We aren’t under Levitical law.” So, they believe this verse no longer applies. Someone else points out that tattoos were different in “biblical times.” They claim that tattoos were for “the dead and in idolarty, which was of course was wrong.”

Still, as fans know, Jim Bob and Michelle follow many strict, biblical teachings. It’s unclear what they believe about tattoos, but fans don’t think they would necessarily be happy about any of their kids having them. So far, it doesn’t look like any Duggars have gotten tattoos, or at least visible ones.

So, what do you think of Jill Dillard’s henna? Do you think her dad Jim Bob Duggar will be upset if he sees it? Let us know in the comments below.
