As Vanderpump Rules fans recall, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced their departures from the show last year. This news came amid the news that Bravo fired their co-stars Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni. Of course, no one really misses the newbies, but it’s obvious that the OGs are missing from the show.
As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Lala shared the photos of the wedding gown she would’ve worn during her nuptials to fiance Randall Emmett. The two were supposed to marry in April 2020. However, it’s on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic. After sharing the photos, Lala was met with comments from Jax and Brittany.
Lala Kent planned to film wedding on Vanderpump Rules
Lala Kent shared the touching photos on her Instagram. She revealed that designer Alexandra Renee Scott made the custom-made gown that is fit for a princess. In one of the photos, “Dad” would’ve been featured on her veil, had she walked down the aisle. In early 2020, Lala appeared on the Juicy Scoop podcast with Heather McDonald.
At the time, she confirmed that they planned to film their wedding since it would’ve taken place among production. “We have no choice but to have it filmed,” Lala Kent shared. But their wedding has been put on hold since. Lala and Randall have not announced a new wedding date. Still, the couple is holding out hope for a 2022 wedding.
Jax Taylor wonders how fired co-stars will attend the event
Lala Kent was met with comments from Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor. Brittany simply commented with the heart-eyed emoji. Meanwhile, Jax wondered how Bravo would film a wedding without the original cast members. It started when one fan asked how the show could film an event without Stassi, Kristen, Brittany, and Jax.
“Just curious what happens with the taping of your wedding [Lala Kent] and being able to have your friends that sadly are no longer on the show at your wedding?” the fan wrote.
“Tough question,” Jax Taylor responded.
Lala wants OG cast members back
Jax Taylor may avoid watching Season 9 of Vanderpump Rules. Yet, it’s clear that he wants to be back on the show when it comes to Lala and Randall’s s special day. Lala Kent made it clear that she wants the OG cast members to return. In an interview with Hollywood Life, the reality star reflected on the shocking firings that took place last year.
The former co-stars were fired due to their past racially insensitive behavior. Six months later, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright also left the show. In the new interview, Lala admitted that Season 9 isn’t the same without the original cast. While she said that the show is still “great,” she feels there’s something missing.
“We obviously miss them tremendously,” Lala Kent told Hollywood Life. “I really want moments like that to become teachable for everybody and I would obviously welcome them with open arms should that ever be a conversation. I’ve seen both Brittany and Stassi as moms. I wish that other people could see how their lives have changed and how different our relationships are now that we’ve added kids into the mix. Four moms, I think it would be such a fun thing to show.”
However, Ariana Madix doesn’t agree with Lala. She previously said that her co-star should move on from the past. Do you agree with Lala that the original cast members should return? Sound off below in the comments.
