OutDaughtered sisters return to school after epic summer

The Busby family soaked up every drop of summer vacation. Danielle and Adam took their six kids on several mini-vacations, but also sent them to various enrichment camps.

Before returning to school – first grade for the quints and fifth grade for Blayke – the girls all updated their look with new haircuts.

This year, twins Ava and Olivia are in different classrooms, leaving room for Olivia to bond with Hazel.

Busby quints enjoy late-night playtime outside

Summer may be over, but fun time in the Busby household never ends! Not even after the girls’ bedtime. Over the holiday weekend, Danielle Busby shared videos on her Instagram Stories of the quints tearing around the driveway on their scooters.

Even little dog Beaux got in on the action, swiftly dodging out of the way of the zooming quints.

Hazel shows off her scooter skills (VIDEO)

One of the videos from Danielle’s Instagram showed how much daughter Hazel’s balance has improved. As viewers know, Hazel’s balance is sometimes affected by her eye condition, congenital nystagmus. The condition causes her eyes to involuntary flutter, according to Adam Busby.

In fact, she had to sit out when all of her sisters, including Blayke, went to cheer camp over the summer. But her dad made up for it by creating special daddy-daughter dates just for Hazel.

However, watching the video of her racing down the driveway with her scooter, you’d never know there’s a problem with her balance. The red-haired quint even showed off her skills by keeping one leg on the scooter and lifting the other in the air. See the video below of Hazel’s scooter-riding skills:

Blayke Busby dresses as Christopher Columbus for school

While older sister Blayke didn’t appear to join the quints on their scooters, she had an eventful day at school before the weekend. Danielle Busby shared multiple videos of Blayke dressing as Christopher Columbus for a school activity.

Danielle even shared a photo of the 10-year-old alongside one of Columbus for a comparison. How does Blayke’s impersonation measure up to the controversial historical figure?
