On Friday morning, Joy-Anna returned to social media with an update about the game. She said that she and Austin won their first game. In addition, she shared a few photos from their evening at the baseball diamond. She was sure to include photos of her two kids, Gideon, 3, and Evelyn, 1 as well.

While plenty of fans think the kids are adorable, others are concerned about one of the photos Joy-Anna decided to take and then post online.

Joy-Anna Forsyth’s followers worry about Evelyn.

In her post about the softball game, Joy-Anna shared a photo of her one-year-old daughter Evelyn standing against the chain-link fence. The little one has her hands and mouth all over the metal fence.

One fan writes, “I love the pictures.. she shouldn’t put her mouth on that nasty gate…” Fans are especially concerned due to the pandemic. They think that Joy-Anna and Austin should keep their kids safe and away from germy areas. They also don’t know why Joy-Anna took the photo instead of removing her daughter’s mouth and hands from the fence.

Another fan shares a possible explanation for the photo, writing, “I knew there were going to be comments about the gate. How do you all know she didn’t do that just as mom was snapping the picture and Joy told her to stop/moved her away after. My gosh.”

Others applaud Joy-Anna for building up her daughter’s immune system. One fan writes, “That gate is probably cleaner/safer to put in her mouth than a toy in a day care that the toddlers all share their slobber with! Probably also cleaner than most toddler’s pacifiers that they wipe all. over. EVERYTHING.”

So, do you think it’s okay that Joy-Anna Forsyth took this picture of Evelyn before removing her from the fence? Or do you think she should be more cautious when it comes to germs right now? Let us know in the comments below.
