Best Friends Joy-Anna Duggar & Carlin Bates Are Reunited: See Pics
Former Counting On star Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth is finally back with her best friend Carlin Bates of Bringing Up Bates. For those who may not know, the Duggar and Bates families are pretty close. Over the years, some of their children have become friends. One friendship that has lasted a while is Joy-Anna and Carlin’s.
Both the Bates and Duggar families have 19 kids and homeschool their children. They share similar religious beliefs. Though the parents haven’t seemed to be spending a lot of time together lately, Carlin and Joy-Anna appear to be as close as ever.
Sadly, the two young moms don’t live near each other. Joy-Anna lives in Arkansas with her husband Austin Forsyth and their two kids, Gideon and Evelyn. Carlin lives in Tennessee with her husband Evan Stewart and their one-year-old daughter, Layla.
Now, they’re finally getting to reconnect. On social media, the two women revealed that they have finally reunited.

On her Instagram stories on Thursday, Carlin talked to fans as she did her makeup. She revealed that she was going to the airport to pick up Joy-Anna. Carlin wrote, “Counting down the hours till I see you, Joy.”
Once Joy-Anna arrived, Carlin shared a selfie they took together, as well as a snap from their pizza night. Carlin excitedly wrote, “Look who is in town.”
In a regular Instagram post, Carlin shared a photo of herself with her best friend. The women are at the Bates Sisters Boutique, which Carlin runs with a few of her sisters. It looks like Carlin and Joy-Anna got to model some of the clothing for the website. In the caption, Carlin wrote, “Just a brunette and a blonde with an unbreakable bond ✌🏼” Joy-Anna responded to the post, writing, “YEESSSSS GIRL!❤️❤️”
In the comments, fans are gushing over the new photo and chatting about how much they love this friendship. They are glad that Joy-Anna and Carlin made the time to see each other.
Joy-Anna and Carlin aren’t sharing too many details about their time together yet. But it’s possible they are spending the whole weekend together. Maybe they will share more photos and videos as they hang out and soak up this quality time together.
