‘GH’ GRIPPING Weekly Spoilers: Austin Schemes With Chase – Nikolas Confronts Spencer
General Hospital spoilers for August 9-13, 2021, reveal Chase wanting to tell Michael and Willow he knows all about their affair, but Austin doing his best to talk him out of coming clean just yet.
General Hospital Spoilers: Austin Wants the Quartermaine Fortune
Austin (Roger Howarth) thinks he’s lucked out with Chase (Josh Swickard). Knowing the man can walk and leading him to the fact that Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) are sleeping together behind his back could be what helps him land paydirt. All Chase has to do is pretend to be paralyzed a little bit longer and stick around the Q mansion where he can help Austin get a hold of some papers that prove he is entitled to a share or ELQ.
Austin is open and honest with Chase when he tells him this is what he wants. Chase likes the idea of taking something from Michael just like Michael took Willow from him, but will he turn to the manipulative side to get it done? That wouldn’t be like Chase, but then again, when a man has been wronged, he is often apt to change.
Meanwhile, Ned (Wally Kurth) starts realizing that Austin may have more of a claim to ELQ than he ever thought.
Nikolas Confronts Spencer
After finding a letter from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) to Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) in Harmony’s things, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) is stunned that a serial killer has been communicating with his son and wonders if Spencer could have anything to do with Ava’s (Maura West) stalker mystery. He confronts Spencer, who pretends to be offended as he manages to talk himself out of the situation. And it turns out Spencer really is in cahoots with a serial killer and has no idea what he has gotten himself into.
Ava doesn’t suspect her stepson at all and instead gives Trina (Sydney Mikayla) some girl talk advice on how to deal with the young man.
The Search For Hayden Continues
With half the town forgetting they already knew who had Hayden shot, Shawn and Sam continue searching for her so she can give them answers and start with Naomi. Will she give away where Hayden actually is? Does she even know?
And does Elizabeth really believe Nikolas when he insists he lied to her about committing a heinous crime? Is the show trying to rewrite history some more or is Nikolas gaslighting his friend?
Port Charles Odds and Ends
In other Port Charles news, Jason and Carly plan their wedding that most people know is a marriage of convenience. While they do that, Nina and Mike grow closer than ever in Nixon Falls. At some point, these two soap opera world are going to collide and it won’t be pretty.
