Isabel Roloff Gets Real With Fans, Opens Up About Forgiveness
In a new social media post, Isabel Roloff shows her followers she’s not afraid to be honest and vulnerable. She opens up about her complicated relationship with her father and how forgiveness has transformed their bond.
She posted a photo of herself and her grandpa standing outside at his home. The mom-to-be is wearing a cute green dress while cradling her baby bump. She’s about halfway through her pregnancy and can’t wait to meet her baby boy later this year. This is Isabel and Jacob Roloff’s first baby.
In her post, Isabel writes:
“I have talked about my papa and I’s relationship on here candidly before. It was never perfect. We went years without speaking. But to see him light up when he talks about his grandson, that gives life to my inner child. To hear the ways he’s excited to show him the world. My son doesn’t need to know the pain of the past or what my dad and I have been through. What he will know is that with resilience and a lot of forgiveness, we got to where we are now. A beautiful, complex place I wouldn’t trade for the world. “
In the future, she can’t wait to bring her son to visit her dad. She wants to show him all of the special things she did there growing up.
She writes, “In a few months, I will bring my baby to this place. He will meet his grandpa (tata in Chilean) and I will tell him the stories of running barefoot through the fields, catching frogs and praying mantis, picking blueberries and running around with my dog.”
