Wait, Anna Duggar NOT Jim Bob Forced Josh On The Rebers?!
Turns out, it might’ve actually been Anna Duggar and NOT Jim Bob that forced Josh on the Rebers. Where did this information come from? What has Duggar fans thinking it was actually Josh’s wife Anna that set the living arrangement up? Keep reading, we’ll explain.
Fans believed Jim Bob set up Josh’s living arrangement
Fans of the Duggar family believed Jim Bob Duggar was responsible for setting up living arrangements for his son. Jim Bob Duggar has a lot of money and Josh has always been considered to be his “golden child.” Some fans speculated Josh’s father might’ve cut the Rebers a check to serve as the guardians of his son during this difficult time. Others, however, speculated something a little darker. They believed Jim Bob likely had some sort of dirt on the Rebers he held over their head as blackmail.
Now, obviously, only those involved know the truth. But, that isn’t going to stop fans from speculating how things might’ve gone down. According to The Hollywood Gossip, the idea that Jim Bob set up the living arrangement doesn’t make a lot of sense. In fact, it makes much more sense that Anna Duggar actually forced her husband on the Rebers.
Anna Duggar is the more likely culprit
The Hollywood Gossip reports that while LaCount and Maria Reber were assumed to be old friends of the Duggar family… No one has been able to find any scrap of anything involving the Duggars mentioning the Rebers. This can be compared to the Wissmann family that is currently being linked to the Duggar family for a few different courtships. There are photos of the Wissmanns and the Duggars together on the internet that’s nearly a decade old. But, no one has been able to find anything linking the Rebers and the Duggars in the same way.
Likewise, we reported that Anna Duggar’s brother David Keller got engaged to Hannah Reber (the only daughter of LaCount and Maria). David and Hannah only courted for a short time before announcing their engagement. Immediately after their engagement, a joint account surfaced with Hannah insisting their relationship was not arranged in any fashion.
The Hollywood Gossip points out this is extremely hard to believe Hannah and David just stumbled across each other by chance. Why? Well, Anna’s family is from Florida. Florida is a VERY long distance from Springdale, Arkansas. So, it doesn’t make sense for Hannah and David to have met without Anna orchestrating it.
