‘Proud Mama’ Amy Halterman Shares HUGE Baby Gage Update
Proud mama Amy Halterman has a HUGE and EXCITING baby Gage update for 1000-Lb. Sisters fans. What has baby Gage accomplished at such a young age? And, how old is baby Gage these days anyway? Keep reading, we’ve got the scoop.
How old is baby Gage, anyway?
We know Gage Deon Halterman was born on November 10, 2020. He was born in Kentucky to Amy and Michael Halterman. He’s also the nephew of Tammy Slaton of 1000-Lb. Sisters. Amy Halterman celebrated baby Gage’s eighth month in the world a little over two weeks ago. So, he’s right smack dab in between being eight and nine months old at the moment.
1000-Lb. Sisters fans are often a little caught off guard by how old the little guy is. Why? Well, because he was “hidden” from fans for a period of time after his birth. His birth was a huge part of Season 2 of the series. So, Amy Halterman was not allowed to post anything about Gage because of her NDA with TLC.
Once the episode of his birth aired, she was free to flood social media with pictures and videos of him. So, it was a little surprising for fans to wrap their minds around the time that had passed between the filming of the birth episode and how old Gage actually was.
Amy Halterman shares HUGE and EXCITING update
Prior to turning nine months old, Amy Halteman has a HUGE baby Gage update for her fans and followers. Turns out, Gage already has two teeth in his tiny little mouth! According to NHS, Gage is pretty on point with this milestone. Babies typically start teething between four and six months. But, some babies do not start teething until after they are a year old. Interestingly enough, there are even some rare cases when babies are born with teeth already in their mouths.
Amy Halterman’s update came with two pictures of baby Gage. The first featured him with the proud mama pulling his lip down so fans could see his teeth. The second featured a snap of the drooling bundle of joy sitting in a grocery cart.

Does this kid look filthy or what? Not only that, but a child cutting teeth isn’t what I’d call news worthy. Does anybody really care? What would be news worthy would be that Amy dropped 500lbs. Now that would be HUGE news!!!!

He’s very cute and very healthy looking, she’s a great mother. But I would like to see her drop lbs. so she will always be there for him. If she was as huge as Tammy, she wouldn’t even be able to take care of him so encourage her to keep going down and stop the nasty remarks.
It is so wonderful they have a beautiful baby and they are enjoying him so much. They have so many blessings and are so honest about their lives. I love their sense of humor and their fun personalities. I love this show and are so very happy for them.
