Bibiana Julian Stands Up For ‘Bachelorette’ Contestant Hunter Montgomery
Hunter Montgomery was sent home on Monday night from The Bachelorette. Turns out, not everyone is happy about it. Bibiana Julian is standing up for Hunter and how the other men treated him.
Bibiana Julian talks about Hunter Montgomery
Hunter made some men mad on The Bachelorette this week. He decided to pick out who he thought Katie’s top four would be. This comes after getting the group date rose. It seems like that put him on top of the world and now he is quite certain he’s making it to the end. Of course, after being sent home, fans know that’s not true.
Bibiana Julian, who was on Arie’s season of The Bachelor, understands where he is coming from and doesn’t think the men should be so hard on him Us Weekly reveals.
“When I was in the house, I wasn’t that trusting. I had, like, the three friends that I felt really close to. It’s just a handful of them that you naturally just gravitate to,” she says. “There’s just so many people that it’s hard for you to become a bestie to everyone. But what people don’t realize is that you are being recorded 24/7; it’s not just the moment that you’re with someone. … You’re being recorded from the moment you wake up all the way till the time that you fall asleep. Even while you’re falling asleep, you’re being recorded.”
His drama isn’t the same
Bibiana continues to bring up a good point. She says that Hunter was in no way trying to start drama. He just really likes Katie and doesn’t know how to handle it. His ‘drama’ is nothing compared to drama started by other men in the house.
“This is basically the domino effect. I think that Hunter’s situation is very different. I’m not saying that I’m a fan of how he acted, right? But this wasn’t a Karl that was trying to stir up drama out of nowhere and this wasn’t a Thomas who was obviously, you know, very vocal about his intentions coming in,” Bibiana says. “I think Hunter was just someone who was a little bit in over his head, and he genuinely liked her. … I feel like he just started to spiral a little bit this last episode.”
Bibiana probably totally knows what this feels like because there were several people on her season that didn’t like her as well. However, since then she has made a great life for herself. Hopefully, Hunter is able to do the same thing.
