GH spoilers have spilled the date Austin will finally reveal his true identity. It appears as if this bombshell will drop somewhere between July 12 and July 16. Turns out, Austin (Roger Howarth) has plans to crash the ELQ meeting. During which time he will reveal his true identity. His identity is Jimmy Lee Holt’s (Steve Bond) son.
Now, this identity reveal during next week’s episodes won’t come as too much of a shock to long-time viewers. With Jimmy Lee being the son of Edward Quartermaine (David Lewis)… This also means Austin will be revealing his status as a member of the Quartermaine clan. It is beautiful to see some rich General Hospital history being brought back to the forefront. Old characters that helped build GH to the greatness it is today. General Hospital needed a quirky new mysterious character to keep viewers guessing after the huge blow of losing Franco Baldwin.
GH viewers are loving Roger Howarth
This character was made for Roger Howarth and as usual, he’s doing an impressive job playing the role. GH viewers loved Howarth as Franco Baldwin but they are starting to warm up to him as another character. Moreover, the actor seems to be enjoying the opportunity to take on a different kind of role. And, Austin? Well, Austin is definitely an interesting character. Undoubtedly, this character is like an onion with a lot of layers to peel back. Once Austin crashes this meeting and reveals his true identity… Viewers believe that’ll crack the shell on this character, so we can really begin to get to know who he is underneath. We already know he has bonded with Maxie but who is next?
General Hospital spoilers suggest Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) may decide to come with Austin as he heads to crash the meeting. Alternatively, he might stay back and wait to assess what happens after Austin reveals his true identity and what the next move should be.
