Jinger Duggar Vuolo Rocks Short Shorts: See New Photo

Jinger Duggar Vuolo, TLC

Jinger Duggar Vuolo is doing her own thing! The Counting On star isn’t sticking to her parents’ strict modesty standards, and she continues to prove that. On Instagram, she shares photos of herself wearing sleeveless tops, jeans, and shorts. Though this isn’t a big deal for most people, it is for the Duggars. In the Duggar family, the girls are expected to dress modestly. They are always seen wearing long skirts or dresses. Now that Jinger and her husband Jeremy Vuolo are figuring things out for themselves, Jinger has decided to try wearing shorts and pants.

She’s not the only one of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s kids to “break the rules.” Joy-Anna Forsyth, Jessa Seewald, and Jill Dillard are wearing pants now too.

Jinger Duggar Vuolo wears short shorts

While we often see Jinger wearing jeans, she doesn’t seem to wear shorts as often. Well, in a new photo shared by her husband Jeremy, Jinger shows off her legs. She’s wearing short navy shorts and a white top with sneakers. Since it was posted to his Instagram stories, fans can’t publicly comment on the post.

When Jeremy posted the photo, there was a high of 70°F and a low of 58°F in Los Angeles, California where they live, so it’s definitely warming up. The pair enjoyed snow cones and some time outside in the warm weather. Summer is only just beginning, so we are sure to see more photos of Jinger showing off her legs in the next few months.

She opens up about her decision to wear pants

As we’ve reported, Jinger and Jeremy recently released their first book, The Hope We HoldIn the book, one of the topics that she addresses is her decision to wear pants. She writes:

“My mom had always dressed us girls in skirts and dresses, a standard that was taken from Deuteronomy 22:5, which says, ‘A woman shall not wear a man’s garment,’ (ESV) and I never questioned it. Modesty was a huge topic in our house, and we believed that wearing skirts instead of pants was a central part of being modest. But I wanted to discover for myself what the Bible had to say.”

Then, she goes on to write, “Growing up, I had a set of standards that I took as givens. My convictions were changing.” By reading the bible, she found that “biblical modesty is deeper and more profound than wearing skirts instead of pants. Modesty isn’t only about what you wear. It’s about the position of your heart.”
