‘Bringing Up Bates’ Mother’s Day Special This Week
Bringing Up Bates recently took a trip down memory lane and everyone enjoyed it a lot. Now, UPtv takes a look at the moms in the Bates family this Mother’s Day. It’s not the first special that UPtv brought out for the special day that honors moms. Fans seem keen on watching it. While the teaser’s very short, they know from past shows, that if you love kids, it’s a really nice show.
Bringing Up Bates honors moms
We reported that recently, Kelly Jo Bates, who raised 19 of her own kids, went for surgery. The kids all got together and celebrated her birthday and planned something very sweet for her. They all took a trip down memory lane. One by one, the kids reminisced about their days in the past. It seemed interesting as so many people already married. Also, the family ranges from little kids to married couples. Zach took credit for all the rest of the kids, claiming that Kelly had 18 more as he was such a great little kid.
In the past, UPtv brought out special episodes for Bringing Up Bates that celebrate Mother’s Day. It looks like this year takes the same angle as 2016. 2018, etc. Normally, it takes fans through family flashbacks with a focus on “the most motherly moments.” Of course, these include more moms as the Bates family grows. These days, Carlin’s a mom alongside the likes of Kelly Jo, Whitney, Erin, and Alyssa.
Being a mom’s a big deal in the family
Bringing Up Bates posted up a short teaser on Facebook and on Instagram. The special for Mother’s Day airs on Thursday at 9 PM ET on UPtv. The teaser notes, “Grab the family and get ready for Mother’s Day.” On Instagram, fans from New Zealand and the UK complained that might not be able to watch it. However, those who can watch it seem excited about the special. Meanwhile, more people commented on Facebook.
One UPtv fan wrote, “I can’t wait for Thursday night to watch Bringing up Bates to watch Mother’s Day Special And a VERY HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY TO ALL THE BATES MOTHERS HAVE A VERY SPECIAL DAY AND ENJOY IT TOO.”
Another fan commented, “Happy Mother’s Day to all of the Bates Mothers ❤️.” However, one lucky fan talked about seeing mom Carlin Bates and her family. They posted, “I saw Carlin, Evan, Layla Rae and Evans family at Elmo’s here in Springfield, Tn. today. Beautiful family!!!”
That sounds like a fan who definitely won’t miss the Mother’s special. A few fans discussed how much they love Carlin and apparently, she was the one who got them interested in watching the show in the first place.
