‘Yellowstone’s’ Rip Vs. ‘SEAL Team’s’ Sonny Quinn; Who Wins?
Yellowstone fans just do not quit. The modern-day western captures the attention of fans of all shapes and sizes. It is no surprise that one of the most popular characters is Rip Wheeler. Women love to look at him, while men would love to be him. His rough and rugged cowboy nature leaves many foes thinking twice before crossing him. Many people have been taken to the train station by this man. However, now fans are asking an interesting question. Who would win in a fight between the hard Yellowstone cowboy and SEAL Team stud Sonny Quinn?
SEAL Team
Created by Benjamin Cavell in 2017, SEAL Team is an American military action drama television series. This series is produced by Chulack Productions, John Glenn Entertainment, East 25 C, Timberman/Beverly Productions, as well as CBS Studios. The series follows the lives of Bravo Team as they train, plan, and execute dangerous missions around the world with little notice. Bravo Team is a component unit of the Naval Special Warfare Development Group composing of elite men willing to die for their country.
Sonny Quinn
Sonny Quinn is a Navy SEAL referred to as B3, or Bravo 3. He is an elite member who is at his best under pressure. He excels during firefights and prefers them over a leadership position. Sonny is the epitome of a “good ol’ boy” as well as the most cliched member of Bravo Team. He is known for spouting corny soundbites as well as claiming to be scared of pretty much everything from spiders to water. Although Sonny excels in the field, his strategic planning leaves something to be desired. He is not often taken seriously by the rest of the team. Like the Yellowstone favorite, Rip, Sonny has a short temper. This is especially prevalent when it comes to acts of revenge. However, just as Rip does, Sonny also has a softer side.
Rip Vs. Sonny
Yellowstone fans have taken to Reddit to discuss the hypothetical matchup. One fan asks the question saying,
“Is it just me or do Sonny Quinn and Rip Wheeler look remarkably alike. Either way. Who’d you bet on and why. Sonny VS Rip.”
This question sparked some interest with one Redditor saying,
“Yeah I’m not picking against Sonny in any kind of a shooting competition. Not after what he did against that Romanian guy or whatever. But Rip is probably good enough in a fistfight.”
Another fan backed Rip saying,
“Rip in a bar fight, Sonny if they have all the gear and tools of Bravo”
