Another ‘Bachelor’ Couple Splits, Peter Weber & Kelley Flanagan Are Over
2020 has brought a lot of heartache in Bachelor Nation. There have been marriages that ended, babies that have been lost and relationships that failed. Now, in the latest break-up news, Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan have decided to go their separate ways. What went wrong for this couple?
Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan are ending 2020 apart
What a way to send out 2020! Former Bachelor Peter Weber went to Instagram to share that he and Kelley Flanagan broke up. He shared a photo of them looking towards the sunset on a mountain. He captioned the photo announcing their split.
Peter said, “Love is a funny thing. It can make you you feel on top of the world and it can make you feel a pain you wish didn’t exist. I’m here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways. While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn’t work out in the end.”
He continued on saying, “Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for. Someone I have learned more from than she will ever understand. Someone I am so thankful came into my life and someone who I will always wish all of life’s greatest blessings on. These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion that shows you it was worth the time you spent together. Thank you Kelley.”
Kelley has yet to comment on their split.
Their relationship
Peter and Kelley started dating after his relationships with Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett were over. Kelley was on his season of The Bachelor. However, Peter sent her home just before hometowns.
They reconnected after the show and quarantined together in Chicago. They were constantly together enjoying multiple adventures and trips. Fans even speculated they were engaged for awhile. However, they denied it. And, as it turns out it definitely wasn’t true.
Peter and Kelley were making plans for the future. They planned to move to New York together in January. And, Barbara Weber, Peter’s mom, approved of Kelley. In fact, she was cheering for Kelley throughout Peter’s Bachelor journey.
Their split comes as a shock to fans. Many saw them staying together and making it work long term. Hopefully these two can move on and find happiness. What are your thoughts on their breakup?
