We recently shared that Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba does indeed have COVID-19. Since she has a myriad of health issues, including autoimmune diseases, many are concerned about her. If you’re a fan of The Talk, you’ve probably noticed her absence. She recently shared an update about her condition with fans on social media.

“I’m on day six or seven of my journey with COVID … I’ve leveled out, knock on wood,” Carrie Ann said. “I still can’t smell and I still can’t taste some things. The taste comes and goes depending on the hour and what the food is. One day I can taste it, and the next day I can’t.”

Carrie Ann Inaba Isn’t Having A Great Time, But It Could Be Worse

The Talk hostess isn’t feeling great, but so far she is only experiencing mild symptoms. This is excellent news, considering how south COVID-19 patients can often go. When Carrie Ann first announced she had COVID-19, she said she suffered from a terrible cough and just felt awful overall.

“The headache and the intense pressure in the head is really intense, like you can’t move your eyes,” the DWTS judge continued. “I feel really lucky because right now I don’t have that pain anymore, and I’m not having the chills anymore. My temperature went down.”

But Carrie Ann Inaba isn’t the only member of The Talk to struggle with COVID-19. Sharon Osbourne has it too.

“I wanted to share that I’ve tested positive for Covid 19,” Sharon shared on Instagram. “After a brief hospitalization, I’m now recuperating at a location away from Ozzy (who has tested negative) while The Talk is on scheduled hiatus. Everyone please stay safe and healthy.”

Carrie Ann also advised her fans and followers to follow proper health and safety protocols.

Other Existing Health Conditions Could Put Her In Danger

Taking all of Carrie Ann Inaba’s health issues into consideration, it’s a blessing that she hasn’t developed severe COVID-19 complications. According to her Wikipedia page, the DWTS judge suffers from Sjögren syndrome, Lupus, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain, and fibromyalgia. These conditions are painful enough on their own. But combined, they can take practically anyone out. Carrie Ann Inaba is really tough to brave all those illnesses on top of COVID-19.

If you watched Dancing With The Stars this season, you probably noticed Carrie Ann wore plenty of wigs throughout the season. Some fans poked fun at her, but she reminded everyone that sometimes her hair falls out because of her diseases and medication. Wigs became a way for her to feel confident in her appearance.

Hopefully, Carrie Ann Inaba and Sharon Osbourne will feel better soon so they can get back to our TV screens. Be sure to follow them on social media to stay up to date with their condition.
