‘Welcome to Plathville’ Lydia Plath Breaks Down
Welcome to Plathville is back on TV and the family seems to be falling apart. Now, even Lydia Plath is breaking down when it comes to the family and how they are doing.
Lydia Plath isn’t happy
On Season 1 of Welcome to Plathville, Lydia comes across as a very happy girl who loves her life. However, in the new season she is shedding some tears as her family seemingly falls apart around her The List says.
In the new episode, Lydia reflects on what all has changed over the last year. Apparently – it’s basically everything. Ultimately though, she misses her big brother. The kids are being cut off from their big brother and his wife, Ethan and Olivia.
Of course, that is a sad thing for Lydia to have to go through since she grew up with him. Because of this, she has a pretty big breakdown in the episode.
“I love him so much, I pray from him all the time, and he’s always in my everyday thoughts,” she says in the new episode.
Because of this, the Plath parents are receiving a ton of backlash from Welcome to Plathville fans.
‘Welcome to Plathville’ parents slammed
Fans are not happy with how the children in the family are being treated – especially Lydia. Kim Plath has made it clear she is trying to keep all of her other children from turning out like her older children have.
“So, this evil matriarch takes ZERO responsibility for crippling her children…and Lydia must be saved while she still can from the insanity of her family,” one person says about the situation.
In the new episode, Lydia reveals she finally got her dream – a prayer closet. In that closet, she spends her time praying for her brother who she has no more contact with.
“Things I never thought I would hear: “I’ve always wanted a prayer closet.”One person says.
“That poor girl and her Harry Potter prayer room. When social services finds that room they’re gonna have a lot of questions once they go through all the scrawling on the wall,” another writes.
Clearly, people are not happy with how the Plath children are being raised. To each their own, but when is it too much?
