“Sage Jill Cusick 💕💕,” Lindsay began. “7 lbs 10 oz 19 inches tall … Our perfect little angel was born 8 days early on November 2nd, 2020 at 6:07 am. I woke up to my water breaking around 3:30 am at home in bed and contractions started immediately after. Sam and I grabbed everything and headed straight to hospital. Baby girl was still breech and I was progressing very fast so we prepped right away for C-section delivery.”
“I am so grateful for the incredible team of nurses and doctors who delivered our baby girl to us safe and sound. We could not be more in love with her and feel blessed beyond words to be her parents. She entered this world on the same day that we lost Sams beautiful mother just one year ago and we couldn’t help but see God’s hand in this and know that Sage was handed down to us by her beautiful angel grandmother, Jennifer Jill Gillette Cusick. Thank you all so much for the love and support you have sent our way ❤️❤️.”
Lindsay Receives Lots Of Love From Family, Friends, And Fans
Lindsay’s Dancing With The Stars co-stars eagerly offered their support and well-wishes.
“Love her so much already. She is so beautiful and what an amazing day to come into this world! So special ❤️😭 love you guys!” said Witney Carson, who is expecting her own baby soon.
“SAGE😭😭😭 She’s just so perfect. Congrats💜” wrote Daniella Karagach.
Several other DWTS pros left simple heart emojis. It’s plain to see everyone already loves baby Sage.
Back in May, Lindsay Arnold told PEOPLE she believed she was having a little boy. The news of a baby girl came as a surprise. But even so, the gender didn’t really matter to Lindsay.
“I would’ve been truly happy no matter if it were a boy or a girl,” the dancer told PEOPLE. She went on to say that she’s excited to help her daughter through life. Fans have no doubt Lindsay will make an excellent mother.
Lindsay comes from a big Mormon family, so it’s pretty likely that Sage will have plenty of brothers and sisters. Lindsay Arnold is actually the oldest of four sisters — and all of them are dancers.
Do you think Sage will be a dancer just like her mom and aunts? Let us know what you think in the comments.
We all miss Lindsay Arnold on Dancing With The Stars, but this season is still really exciting! The new episode airs Monday night, so be sure to tune in. We’ll be here to cover highlights.
