Clare Crawley And Benoît Beauséjour-Savard Have No Bad Feelings Between Them

Benoît Beauséjour-Savard teased an appearance on The Bachelorette Season 16 premiere. It made a lot of sense he would appear in some form considering he and Bachelorette lead, Clare Crawley, were engaged for some time.

In the end, he didn’t appear. Is this because of bad blood between the two? Certainly not. It looks like it was simply due to time available in the episode, ensuring as much of the drama at the very start of the season was there.

Two Very Good Friends

Despite no longer getting married, the French Canadian and Crawley are good friends, according to Monsters and Critics. Their relationship didn’t work out due to distance. Clare Crawley lives in Sacramento, California while Beauséjour-Savard wants to remain in Canada. If neither were willing to move, a long-term relationship was never going to happen.

Both understand that. There are no hard feelings between them, and they are good friends.

In fact, Beauséjour-Savard wants to support his former fiancee on this new journey for love. It’s the fifth time Crawley has appeared on Bachelor Nation. She started on The Bachelor, had two seasons on Bachelor in Paradise, and appeared on Winter Games. It was the last one that ABC decided not to include in the reminder footage at the start of the episode. The focus for the flashbacks was to show she hasn’t found love, but now she has another chance on The Bachelorette Season 16.

Benoît Beauséjour-Savard Filmed With Clare Crawley Before Shutdown

The French Canadian’s appearance wouldn’t just have been through flashbacks. Beauséjour-Savard went to Sacramento to film with Clare Crawley back in March 2020. This was just before everything shut down due to the pandemic. Because of this, he was sure his part would make it to the show, so he teased all his followers on his Instagram Stories.

During the meet-up, Clare got some friendly advice from her former fiance. He wants to see her succeed in this season, so he shared some tips to find love.

What’s not clear is whether he offered some advice when it comes to Dale Moss. As soon as Clare met him on the season premiere, she said she’d met her husband. It was love at first sight. While some fans have attacked her for her decision to halt the show, Clare wants to follow her heart.

Right now, we’re waiting to see what the drama is. Based on some of the promos, it looks like Clare Crawley is going to walk away without love yet again. There are clips of her leaving the quarantine bubble, and the men wonder what it means for them now. Will there be another Bachelorette or is that it for them? Did they go through the quarantine and COVID tests for nothing?
