‘DWTS’: Tyra Banks Apologizes For Her Elimination Mix-Up
DWTS fans saw a horrible mix-up on the show. Everyone, both fans and contestants seemed very confused about what went on. The Episode on October 5 went along fine. But right at the end, it all went to pieces as the wrong eliminations came from Tyra Banks. Now, she took to Instagram Stories and apologized for the mix-up.
DWTS – Tyra blamed the ‘control room’
We reported that fans seemed totally unhappy as Tyra blamed the “Control Room” for the mess. We noted that somehow, she called the “wrong names” out. It involved those contestants who were “safe.” For example. “cheer coach Monica Aldama” thought she made it through as safe. And then, it all carried on until Tyra stopped the rest of it. Tyra called it a “technical error.”
The Dancing with the Stars host then “went on to call Monica back to the dance floor and sent everyone else off, except for Anne Heche. Anne was the other DWTS contestant in the bottom two.” Naturally, plenty of people roasted her for it. And, they hated that she apparently shifted the blame to the Dancing with the Stars technical department. Actually, most people love any opportunity to drag on Tyra. After all, they mostly loved Tom Bergeron who got dumped by ABC.
Tyra Banks apologizes
Well, Tyra apologized via her Instagram Stories after the show. And yes, she still shifts the blame. So, it’s not clear that fans take it at face value. She said, “Oh MY Goodness, Live TV is no joke!” Then, she added, “There was a lot of confusion on the stage tonight.” Tyra went on, saying, “I’ve been told there was a technical difficulty and so the names…on the cards were the wrong names.” However, she also told fans they “power through.” Then, she described it as “unfortunate.”
The DWTS host agreed that it’s her “job as a host to keep the show going.” Once again, she talked about trying to figure out “what’s going on behind the scenes, the control room, and all that.” Next Tyra said that they’re “all a team and they got through it together.” Then, she told fans that she hopes they tune in again “next week” and that she hopes for no more “technical difficulties.”
Some fans feel a bit sorry for Tyra
While some trolls slap at Tyra on her Instagram account, others feel a bit sorry for her. One said, “My outright empathy to you and co for such a gaff tonight which was not your fault. Love you queen!” And, another one wrote, “You did great tonight!!! Live tv and you rolled right with it 💕.”
