If you thought things were heating up on Dancing With The Stars, just wait. Things are about to get very emotional during week 4. Disney Channel star and Season 29 competitor Skai Jackson plans to deliver a tribute to the late Cameron Boyce. The two were co-stars at Disney for years. Boyce died at age 20 last year after suffering a tragic epileptic seizure in his sleep.

Skai Jackson and Cameron Boyce Grew Up Together Before Our Eyes

Cameron and Skai starred in the Disney Channel original series, Jessie, which ran from 2011-2015. Audiences enjoyed watching the children grow up on the small screen.

“I don’t even know where to start… I am at a loss for words,” Skai begins an Instagram post after learning about her friend’s death. It was certainly a very difficult time for her.

“I never thought in a million years I would be writing this. Cam, you were one of a kind. My heart will be forever broken. I am so happy that I got to spend almost everyday with you on set, you gave the best hugs. I wish I would have hugged you tighter when I saw you a couple of months ago. Thank you so much for being the big brother I never had… I am so distraught and I cannot stop crying! I love you so much… fly high 👼🏼 💔😢 Gods best Angel.”

Shortly after his death, Skai posted a video on her Instagram of Cameron singing “Ordinary People” by John Legend. On Monday night, she and partner Alan Bersten will do a Foxtrot to this emotionally charged song.

There probably won’t be a dry eye in the house.

Skai Jackson and Alan Bersten have received lower scores over the past two weeks. Some argue that it’s due to harsher judging this year. However, this routine could help them climb back to the top.

Other Contestants Choose Emotional Songs

Skai Jackson’s routine is expected to move viewers, but others chose meaningful songs as well. Backstreet Boy member AJ McLean will Cha Cha to “Larger Than Life,” one of the group’s most iconic songs. AJ will discuss his rise to the top in one of the most popular boy bands of all time.

Chrishell Stause fans know she’s had a really difficult year. This week, she will do a Foxtrot to Harry Styles’s “Adore You.” Fans can likely expect the Selling Sunset star to open up about her divorce from This Is Us star, Justin Hartley.

So which routine are you looking forward to the most? Make sure to bring tissues. Dancing With The Stars will definitely move you when it returns on Monday night. Be sure to tune in and see Skai Jackson and the rest of the cast dance their hearts out.
