So, what’s the latest update on how he is doing?

Fortunately, appearing on My 600-LB Life gave Doug Armstrong an entirely different outlook on life. As we mentioned previously, he lost over 200 pounds since he made his TV debut. Fans can rest easy knowing the updates about his weight loss progress since his appearance on the show have been positive.

On Facebook, Doug Armstrong has been pretty generous with offering the latest update on his progress. For example, he sometimes treats those that follow him to before and after pictures. The before picture is always a time during which he was at a peak high with his weight.

Doug Armstrong continuing to stay on the right path hasn’t been easy. He, like many fans of the series, was devastated when James “L.B.” Bonner passed away back in 2018. Armstrong admits Bonner was an “inspiration” to him. And, he was “lost in thought” as he tried to cope with his death. To those on the outside, it sounded like Armstrong really appreciated connecting with another individual who understood what “being the BIG guy” felt like.

Moreover, Doug and his wife recently expanded their family. According to their Facebook activity, they welcomed their fourth child into the world back in September of 2019.
