Tyler Cameron Shares Sad Reason He’s Not Dating Right Now
Fans of The Bachelor have been wanting to see Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown date. They quarantined together for several weeks in Florida. Even seemingly shared a bed. However, both have maintained they are single. Now, Tyler is speaking out and sharing why he is not quite ready to jump back into the dating pool.
What’s holding Tyler back from dating?
E!News shared details about what Tyler had to say about his dating life. The reasons he doesn’t feel ready to date are because of his mom passing not long ago. And, with quarantine life continuing on, he doesn’t even see how dating is possible.
Tyler said, “I am dating nobody right now. I’ve had a lot going on in my life lately. My mom passed. We have this whole quarantine going on, so who the heck can date right now?”
While fans are still holding out hope he and Hannah will end up together, it doesn’t seem to be happening anytime soon. In fact, Hannah has recently said she is ready to put herself back out there. She even said she will not be exclusively dating guys from The Bachelor.
Tyler is still hurting from losing his mom
It’s just over two months since Tyler’s mom, Andrea passed away. Her passing was sudden from a brain aneurysm. Tyler is trying to do the noble thing and step up to the plate to help his brothers. He wants to take care of them and be there for them.
Tyler said, “My main goal right now is focusing on my little brothers, taking care of them and getting them where they need to be. I know I’ll be able to get through all this, but my youngest brother… He’s 20-years-old. He’s a baby.”
He feels very blessed to be able to still be in Florida two months after his mom died. Being in Jupiter, Florida has been good for Tyler for and his brothers. Plus, he has made some amazing memories with his friends as part of The Quarantine Crew.

Looking to the future
In order for Tyler to feel good about dating again, he needs to take care of himself first. He says it’s important to him to make sure his brother’s are okay through all this. When he finds himself in a good frame of mind, he will think about entering the world of dating again.
He said, “Right now I need to make myself happy. I need to take care of myself, take care of my brothers and then once I feel like I’m in a [good] place hopefully I can find someone that can make help me happy and I can help make them happy.”
And, who knows, maybe down the road Tyler and Hannah will find themselves ready to date each other again. Time will tell. One thing is certain though, they already mean the world to each other.
