Bachelor alum Bekah Martinez is feeling comfortable in her own skin, especially during her second pregnancy. She wants her daughter to know there’s nothing wrong with women having body hair. The former Bachelor contestant and proud mom flaunted her body hair on social media. She wants to create a positive space for her daughter to grow up and love her own body.

Former Bachelor contestant shares inspiring message on social media
As per Yahoo! Entertainment, Bekah Martinez fired back at the haters on social media. She wants her daughter to know that it’s okay for women to have body hair. Bekah posted a new photo with her 15-month-old daughter on Instagram that featured her unshaven legs. In the lengthy caption, she explained why she continues to post photos of her body hair.
“My daughter (and every other person for that matter) deserves to live in a world where they can exist in their natural body without feeling disgusting,” Bekah wrote. “My family will not be a family that passes down shame about weight, body hair, breast size, acne, height, or any of the other millions of things we’re taught are ‘unattractive.'”

Bekah is feeling more comfortable in her skin these days and it shows. The Bachelor Nation alum now accepts herself, as she is. Her body hair was something that she used to be “ashamed of and repulsed by,” and she has since changed her mindset.
The Bachelor fan favorite said that it’s her decision to decide whether or not she should remove her hair. And her boyfriend loves her just the way she is. Back in 2018, Bekah shared a photo of herself with her unshaven armpits on her Instagram Story. She simply told her followers that she wasn’t in the mood to shave.

The Bachelor star doesn’t just post photos of her body hair just to flaunt it. She’s also proud of her Mexican heritage. Although she doesn’t owe anyone a reason as to why she doesn’t shave, she wants to share her story in an effort to inspire other women.
Bekah also revealed that she suffers from eczema. It occurs when she shaves her armpits. As for waxing, it’s too expensive. Plus, most body removal methods are painful and tiresome. So, she’s learned to embrace it instead.

And because of her Mexican heritage, Bekah said she’s had dark body hair for most of her life. She’s felt the societal pressure to constantly shave. But she feels that it’s more liberating not to shave. Bekah truly doesn’t care what her haters think and her followers think she’s beautiful as she is.
