On Sunday, April 12, families all over the world celebrated Easter. But, things were a little different this year due to the coronavirus. Families had to celebrate at home without their extended family members. And, the same is true for the Duggar family. From social media, it looks like each family celebrated Easter at home. They didn’t have a large gathering due to social-distancing guidelines.
Thanks to social media, fans can see how each family celebrated the holiday. And, there are new pictures of each of the families too.
Josh and Anna Duggar
Josh and Anna have six children now, and they managed to get a picture of all six of them dressed up. Their kids are four months old to 10 years old. On Palm Sunday, which was April 5, Anna talked about possibly dressing her kids up for their Easter service at home. And, it looks like she decided to get everyone all ready to celebrate Easter at home.
On Sunday, Jana shared a picture of herself standing outside in a long-sleeved dress and heels. Along with the photo, Jana shared the lyrics to a religious song. Many of her followers commented on how much they also love the song she shared. And, they also shared that they love her outfit.
John and Abbie Duggar
John and Abbie celebrated their first Easter as parents in 2020. The couple welcomed Grace Annette in January, so they are experiencing all the firsts with her. They shared a couple of family photos on Sunday, and they also shared one of Grace in her Easter dress. They added that they celebrated at home this year.
Ben and Jessa Seewald
Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo
Jinger and Jeremy, as well as their one-year-old daughter, Felicity, live in Los Angeles, California. They spent their Easter at home and shared a couple of photos of their day. Jeremy wrote, “Today we are experiencing an Easter Sunday like never before.” He also shared a photo of himself and Jinger. He doesn’t say when the photo is from, but it seems like the couple is taking the coronavirus and social-distancing very seriously, so they didn’t go out on Sunday.
Jinger also shared a photo on her own Instagram account. In her post, she shared a picture of herself and Felicity reading the bible. She also talks about how quiet this Easter is. Fans assume that Jinger and Jeremy would have seen their families for the holiday. But, due to the virus, they were stuck at home.
In years past, holidays have been a big occasion for the Duggar family. So, it must be a huge contrast to go from celebrating with her 18 siblings to celebrating with her husband and daughter.
Josiah and Lauren Duggar
Josiah and Lauren celebrated the special day with their little family. The couple currently has one daughter, Bella, who is five months old. The couple shared a photo of themselves with their daughter. They’re all dressed up in color-coordinated outfits. Josiah and Lauren write about putting their trust in God during these uncertain times.
Some of the Duggar kids haven’t shared Easter photos yet. Maybe they will share those soon. But, for now, fans are enjoying the ones that have been posted.
