Bachelor contestant Madison Prewett revealed that she is saving herself for marriage. There is just one little problem. Peter Weber didn’t find out until Fantasy Suite week. He wishes that she could have confided in him sooner. He probably would not have felt so much pressure not to get intimate with the two other women.

Peter found himself in a difficult situation. He previously revealed to the producers that he was in love with all three women. Madison told him she was saving herself for marriage and then asked him to refrain from being intimate with the other two contestants during Fantasy Suite week. He wishes that she would have shared her feelings sooner. But Peter still defended Madison like he did in a previous interview.

The Bachelor opens up about the tough conversation he had with Madison Prewett

Peter Weber spoke exclusively to People during The Bachelor: Women Tell All taping. The commercial air pilot talked about Madison not being able to move forward with their relationship if she found out he slept with the other two contestants – Victoria Fuller and Hannah Ann Sluss during Fantasy Suites. He wishes that she would have told him sooner, but he doesn’t blame her for holding back.

“I would’ve loved to have had that conversation a little bit sooner, not leading into the week of fantasy suites,” Peter said. “But I also don’t fault her at all for what she told me, because I was very clear with all the women from the very first night to please share what’s ever on your heart.”

On Monday night’s episode of The Bachelor, Madison spoke with Peter to address her “expectations” for the Fantasy Suite dates. Madison didn’t feel comfortable with giving Peter the ultimatum. But she felt that “actions speak louder than words.” If he were to sleep with the other two women, then she didn’t want to continue their relationship.

After his two dates with Hannah Anna and Victoria F., Peter admitted to Madison that he was intimate with the other women.

“I’ll just be very honest and I won’t give any details, but I have been intimate, and I can’t lie to you about that,” Peter said teary-eyed.

Madison excused herself from their date. Peter sat there crying. Then he looked for her and begged for her to stay if she feels that the two of them could stay together. He apologized and asked her not to leave. Time will only tell what will happen next.

Peter Weber doesn’t feel that Madison gave him an ultimatum

He also defended Madison during his interview with People. Peter knows that some of Bachelor Nation feels that her request was more of an ultimatum. He doesn’t feel that way. Peter knows that Madison wanted to make sure they were on the same page when it came to intimacy.

“People try to say it’s an ultimatum. It wasn’t,” Peter said. “She simply felt I needed to know what she was feeling and I could see how uncomfortable it was for her to have that conversation with me.”

Peter doesn’t feel that Madison should be criticized for waiting so long to share her beliefs with him. He believes it started a healthy and honest conversation between two adults who are considering the idea of marriage.
