Gavin Degraw: Brooks Laich And Julianne Hough Are ‘Fine’
Gavin Degraw sees nothing wrong with Brooks Laich and Julianne Hough. He says they’re “healthy and fine” despite what the tabloids say. The couple has been making headlines lately. Julianne Hough has been seen without her wedding ring. Brooks Laich hinted about making big changes and embarking on a personal journey of self-discovery on his Instagram page.
That’s when the tabloid reports flooded in. Fans wondered if the couple was approaching the end of their marriage. Brooks and Julianne didn’t even spend New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day together. This didn’t look good to the outside world. Except to one person.
Gavin Degraw says that couple is doing well
The singer-songwriter is a good friend of Brooks Laich. The two work together on Laiche’s podcast, How Men Think. The “I Don’t Want to Be” singer spoke to Us Weekly where he confirmed that their marriage is doing just “fine.”
“You know, he’s doing very well,” Degraw said about Laich. “Yeah, he’s doing absolutely great.
He then said that he doesn’t know too much about the couple’s marriage. According to Degraw, Laich hasn’t “expressed those types of things,” but he says that his friend has been in good spirits.
“Brooks is a one of a kind personality,” the artist explained. “So everything seems healthy and fine.”
Brooks Laich “still hoping things will work out” with Julianne Hough
Gavin Degraw isn’t the only one who feels positive about this couple. It appears that they’re not done with their marriage yet. This comes after reports claimed that the couple has “been having problems for months.” Laich doesn’t want to give up on things. An insider told People that he wants to “stay married” to his wife. “And he is obviously still hoping things will work out with [Hough].”
It looks like Laich is the only one who feels this way about their marriage. Hough is a “free spirit” who loves traveling and dancing. She’s used to being an independent woman and that’s “been tough for Brooks and their marriage.”

The source added that Hough “already has her own life that she seems happy with” even though Laich “keeps holding on.” The source said that their rough patch could be “just a phase, maybe not.” But the couple doesn’t have any plans to talk about their marriage problems anytime soon.
Back in August 2019, Hough revealed that she’s “not straight.” Earlier this month, Laich said that he wanted to explore his own sexuality this year. Most of his journey will be documented on his podcast.
