Rachel Bilson Speaks Out About Dating Rumors With Former ‘Bachelor’ Nick Viall
Rumors have been swirling around about former Bachelor Nick Viall and O.C. alum Rachel Bilson. Nick has said in the past the two are just friends, but fans keep speculating the two could be dating. Rachel is finally breaking her silence and spilling the beans on what she thinks of Nick.
Rachel addresses Nick dating rumors
According to Rachel, she and Nick are just friends. US Weekly spoke with Rachel about the rumors. She said, “We’re just friends. We’ve always just been friends. He’s a really nice guy.” The rumors kicked off this past July when she was a guest on Nick’s podcast, Viall Files.
Since then the two appeared to be flirty with each other on social media. One comment from Nick told Rachel, “cute dress.” Another from Bilson said, “sweet cuffs.” When asked about the comments, Rachel says the two were just messing around with each other.
In a previous interview, Rachel had said she didn’t want to talk about her relationship with. She noted that she would just keep that private. They have both confirmed having dinner on occasion, but only as friends.

Her thoughts on Nick taking another turn as The Bachelor
Rachel would not be opposed to seeing Nick return as The Bachelor. She said, “He should. He’s very entertaining. I tease him about it, but I don’t think he would ever do it.” Nick said he is definitely still looking for love and the right woman to settle down with. So far it looks like that is not with Rachel.
Nick said, “I’m certainly hoping to settle down when the right person comes. I’m not trying to put pressure on myself.” Fans of The Bachelor are hoping to one day see Nick settle down. He has tried to find love on multiple occasions through The Bachelor franchise.

Nick’s last serious relationship
Of course, Nick’s last known serious relationship was with ex-fiance Vanessa Grimaldi. The two got engaged on the finale of Nick’s season of The Bachelor which aired in March of 2017. The two split a few months later. Vanessa recently spoke out about their relationship saying she felt pressured to get engaged on the show, but really was not ready.
In the meantime, fans will have to just keep waiting for Nick to find a new love interest. It doesn’t appear to be Rachel, at least for now. The new season of The Bachelor featuring pilot Peter Weber is set to premiere on January 6, 2020 on ABC.
