Monique Samuels Of ‘RHOP’ Files A Counter Assault Case Against Candiace Dillard
Candiace Dillard is getting back what she doled out. According to People, Monique Samuels has filed a counter assault case against her. The two had an altercation on October 16th which Dillard filed an assault case against Samuels for.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star will appear in court on December 23rd for the case brought against her. Now, Dillard will have to come to court on February 6th for the same thing. A judge has agreed in both cases there is probably cause for second-degree assault.

What Happened Between Monique Samuels And Candiace Dillard?
The two RHOP stars were at a dinner party with other housewives. Allegedly Monique Samuels grabbed Candiace by the hair and pulled her down. Bravo cameras were there to catch all of it for the upcoming season of the show. According to US Weekly once they started fighting it took several people to pull Monique off of Candiace.
Her lawyer sees it a bit differently stating, “My client was assaulted by someone known for her aggressive, threatening and belligerent conduct. On this regard, Mrs. Samuels had no choice but to fully defend herself and she did.” He went on to say his client wanted to find peace but was denied the recommendation for mediation. It’s sad two people who once regarded each other like sisters can’t forgive and forget.
They Both Spoke Out On Social Media
Candiace revealed the reason her appearance to sing the National Anthem at the Chicago Vikings game got cancelled. She posted to Instagram it had been cancelled because of Monique Samuel’s vendetta against her. Monique responded on Twitter saying “you are not, never was and will never be that important to me.” She went on to say people with no real responsibilities make her laugh and she doesn’t have time to care about her failed bookings.
Candiace’s lawyer said, “I did not know innocent people filed counterclaims as a strategic move after we all know they have been charged and caught on video threatening and attacking our client!” Wow, seems like this battle is just getting started. Her lawyer said the physical assault and emotional distress has been painful for her and they hope Monique will get some help. Monique and Candiace could face jail time if they are charged with second-degree assault. Fans will see for themselves what went down when they watch the show.
