‘Ghost Adventures’ Deemed Best Paranormal Show Of The Decade

News, Reality TV

One of the most popular reality shows on the Travel Channel is Ghost Adventures. The hit paranormal show is popular for good reason. It is the best of its kind. Not only is the show amazing, the crew is even better. Lead investigator Zak Bagans, along with Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley comprise the crew. While they work well together, they also bring terrifying, humorous paranormal encounters to fans across the world.

Ghost Adventures deemed the best paranormal show of the decade

TV Guide shared the news that Ghost Adventures is simply the best. These four men have made paranormal talk normal and part of everyday family conversations. While the paranormal may not be for everyone, those who believe love watching the crew investigate some of the most haunted locations in the world. They also love seeing Aaron get sent to dark, scary rooms alone.

Ghost Adventures is the best because the crew takes pride in everything being genuine. Zak said, “We truly are invested in these investigations. The reactions that you see from us are our genuine excitement, our genuine fear.”

Zak Bagans describes their investigations together

Zak shared, “When the four of us are together investigating it’s like this invisible cord connecting us all. While some investigators may go in with gear and they just walk around with beeping gadgets — and that’s all they’re looking for is a beep — we go in there and we feel things. We all have such a hypersensitivity to spirit. We’ve done over a thousand investigations, we’ve been doing this for 15 years. This is our life. This is what we do.”

The show is almost addicting to those who love it and fans just can’t get enough of Zak and the crew. When the show began in 2007 on Syfy, Zak admits they were all amateur investigators. In 2008 it transitioned over to the Travel Channel and really took off. As the years go by Zak and the boys gain more experience and more knowledge. Increasing technology also helps them in their incredible investigations. Zak said, “Our flame grows brighter and bigger every year, every investigation.”

How Ghost Adventures started

Zak discussed how the show came to be. He said, “In the beginning, we just had a curiosity, and it really stemmed from an experience that I had back in the early 2000s. And it was something that I couldn’t get out of my mind. Ghost Adventures was for me to try to get more answers about what I saw because it was so powerful… but it just meant something to me — like I was chosen to do this.” The rest is history and the show is just getting started.

Zak says he has no specific location he wants to visit. He said, “There’s not a particular location that I want to go investigate. It’s where the road leads us to. And as crazy as it may sound, a lot of these locations and the spirits at the location… they call us.”

The future of Ghost Adventures

Along with historical haunted locations, Zak also likes to investigate homes of people who are being tormented by spirits and demons. The crew has helped many in the past and will continue to do so.

Zak commented on Instagram about Ghost Adventures being named paranormal show of the decade. He said, “WOW! THANK YOU @TVGuide for awarding Ghost Adventures as the “Best Paranormal Show of the Decade” Im incredibly honored thank you to my bros Aaron, Billy and Jay, my production crew, to the Travel Channel and most importantly our FANS!”

Ghost Adventures is not going anywhere anytime soon. Zak and the boys will continue to try and find paranormal evidence and help tormented souls find peace.
