‘Mama June: From Not To Hot’ Mama June’s Meltdown, ‘Could Kill’ Herself

Mama June From Not To Hot

Mama June: From Not to Hot fans saw in the last episode that June’s totally losing it over Geno and she ends up so out of it that her family needed to intervene. Now, a new preview of the next episode is out. Titled, The Road to Intervention June’s in such a bad way that she says she ‘could kill’ herself. She hates the person she’s become. Meanwhile, Alana cries over her mom.

Mama June: From Not to Hot fans hated that June got into doing drugs

Back in March, June and Geno got arrested. In fact, it turns out that June called the cops on herself. Found in possession of drugs and paraphernalia, she faces possible jail time. Fans thought maybe she started using drugs to help keep her weight down. Even worse, they suspect that Geno took her down that road. Now, the family starts their intervention. However, it may be too late to save her from herself.

The saddest part of it is that June can’t seem to get it into her head how she’s hurting young Alana, (Honey Boo Boo). She’s a young teen and she’s not even living with June. She says to June, “Do you not understand that I’m staying with my sister and that’s not by choice?” However, June just blows her off, saying, “it is” her choice. That’s when Alana starts crying. It’s a very sad situation for the Mama June: From Not to Hot family.

Family intervention with June shows drugs change people’s perspectives

One thing about June, in her own rough and ready way, she always nurtured Alana. However, now she’s changed so much, she’s a far cry from the triumphant Not to Hot she was before. Alana’s broken, the family discuss custody, and June storms outside, falling to the ground. In fact, she walked away from the family trying to help her, yelling that they better let her out the house or she’ll call the cops. Meanwhile, one family member says “Drugs change your whole perspective on everything.”

Actually, it may go far deeper than perspective. As Dr. Ish Major, who fronted the intervention says in a Mama June: From Not to Hot clip, “Obviously June’s a grown woman and her behavior is her choice to a certain degree.” However, he also noted that “when you lack the insight and the judgment and now your choices are spilling over and affecting you emotionally, affecting you physically and affecting your family and you still can’t make a better choice, that tells me there’s a much deeper problem.”

Scary June’s in a state and during her meltdown cries that she ‘could kill’ herself

The family truly care about Mama June and try to reach her, but she’s in a meltdown. If this is what drugs do to home and family, it’s quite shocking footage. And, this is real for Alana. In fact, it’s shockingly real for the teen, who’s crying came over as totally spontaneous, rather than for the Mama June: From Not to Hot cameras.

June knows something’s up with her as she admits she hates who she’s become. It’s also quite frightening as her last word on the promo were: “I f**king hate myself. I want to f**king kill the person I am now.”

What do you think about all this? Do you think the family can save her? After all, she could end up in prison, and that’s not a great environment for someone in meltdown who feels they “could kill” themselves.  Sound off your thoughts in the comments below.

  1. this show is so freaking fake it isn’t even funny. than you have her little troll daughter on the show too. pretty pathetic.

  2. I don’t think this situation is fake. June is in a bad way and it has affected the whole family especially Alana. However, this Geno is the cause of all her problems. He did a complete 360 on how he treats her and that is what has caused her to seek harmful substances or that maybe through his influence as well. (Somebody ought to tell him to have that disgusting lump on his neck checked!) I never really understood how June and the whole family turned against Sugar Bear. He was a constant in their life and June seemed happy when she was with him. I don’t believe the nonsense that he mistreated her children. And why if there is a question of drug abuse is this show still on the air? Remember when June hooked up with an old boyfriend who had been in jail for sex abuse? The show was cancelled that time! Alana is better off with Pumpkin and Josh.
