Bachelor Nation fans are speculating if Tayshia Adams might return for another chance as The Bachelorette. Keep reading to find out what they are saying.

Heartbroken host breaks down on Men Tell All

Viewers tuning in to the Men Tell All special featuring Michelle Young’s former suitors got more than they expected. During the episode that aired Monday, December 6, co-host Tayshia Adams rushed off the stage in tears. What happened?

Reportedly, the special filmed at the end of November, on the same day she confirmed her split from fiance Zac Clark. The former couple got engaged during the Season 16 finale of The Bachelorette.

However, Tayshia didn’t get a full season due to Clare Crawley being the original lead. It was only after Crawley left the show after finding love with Dale Moss that the network brought in Adams. So, some fans have always felt that she was short-changed a full season.

Could Tayshia Adams be the next Bachelorette?

Bachelor Nation fans took to Reddit to discuss the possibility that Tayshia could get another shot at love as The Bachelorette. Season 18 is currently wrapping up.

Season 19 of the show is expected to film in early 2021, if ABC sticks with the typical schedule.

There were rumors that the dating competition would have back-to-back seasons of The Bachelor, but those plans have reportedly been scratched. Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor debuts in January.

In a thread titled “Theory: I think Tayshia is likely being seriously considered for Bachelorette 2022” makes the case for Tayshia Season 2.0.

The fan points out that she is currently single after her split from Zac Clark. Furthermore, “The producers would see it as a way to appease the fans talking about how the franchise has a race problem.”

ABC has come under fire for years for lack of diversity.

While Tayshia Adams has been co-hosting The Bachelorette, the fan doesn’t expect to see her on TV for a while. Bachelor alum Jesse Palmer takes over hosting duties from Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe.

The responses to the fan theory are overwhelmingly negative. “I don’t see it happening,” wrote one Redditor. Most Bachelor Nation fans shutting the idea down point out that Tayshia just broke up with her fiance and likely isn’t in the right place to start dating again.

Typically the next Bachelorette comes from the prior Bachelor season, so it’s likely the lead for Season 19 will be from Clayton’s season.

Why she won’t talk about Zac Clark

Before walking off the Men Tell All stage, Tayshia revealed she’s “heartbroken” over the split. She addressed the split again briefly during the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast. Bachelor Nation fans shouldn’t expect the details of the split anytime soon.

“I don’t really have anything to add to it just because I’m still going through it all.” – Tayshia Adams, Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.

Us Weekly reports that the reality star hinted that she may one day open up about the split. “And one day, when I feel like I have more to say, I’m sure we can talk about it all,” she said.
