‘Real Housewives’ OG To Get Peacock Spin-Off?

Peacock streaming revives stale franchise
Former RHOC star Kelly Dodd said recently that the Real Housewives franchise was on the decline and would leave Bravo soon. However, Season 2 of RHOSLC is getting a lot of viewers due to Jen Shah’s legal drama.
Even if she is right that the franchise is leaving Bravo, Peacock streaming is more than ready to pick up the series.
Previously canceled The Real Housewives of Miami returns with a new season starting December 16, exclusively on Peacock. An all-star Ultimate Girls Trip spin-off featuring popular housewives from various franchises already has Season 2 lined up, with rumors of a third season.
A new blind gossip item alleges that the streaming service is plotting another spin-off, this time featuring a franchise OG and her family. The news comes on the heels of RHOA star Porsha Williams’ spin-off, Porsha’s Family Matters, debuting on Bravo.
Real Housewives OG to get Peacock spin-off?
Gossip blog @deuxmoi posted a blind item on their Instagram about the Bravo franchise. An anonymous tipster hints at an upcoming Peacock streaming spin-off featuring a Real Housewives star.
“A certain OG Housewife and her real estate mogul hubby are in talks” to get their own spin-off, the spy claims. The alleged spin-off would focus on her “acting ventures” while being a mom.
RHOBH star Kyle Richards is one name that immediately comes to mind. She recently revived her acting career after 20+ years by reprising her character in Halloween Kills. She’s slated to appear in the 2022 sequel, Halloween Ends.
Furthermore, her husband Mauricio Umansky owns a real estate firm in California. The couple has been married over 25 years and shares three daughters: Alexia, Sophia, and Portia. She also has another daughter, Farrah, from a previous marriage.
Housewives Christmas movie, more Ultimate Girls’ Trip seasons
In addition to the Halloween movies, Kyle Richards is starring in her first Christmas movie. Fittingly, the movie is a Peacock original. The Real Housewives of the North Pole airs exclusively on the streaming service starting Thursday, December 9, 2021.
