Jill Dillard Prioritizes ‘Therapy’ With Sons As Josh Duggar’s Trial Continues
Former Counting On star Jill Dillard is taking care of her mental health amid a tough time for the Duggar family. She and her sons, Israel, 6, and Samuel, 4, enjoyed some quality time and “therapy” over the weekend amid Josh Duggar’s trial.
For those who don’t know, Jill’s brother Josh is in the midst of a child pornography trial. He was arrested in April for receiving and possessing child pornography or child s*xual abuse material. Horrific content was found on the former 19 Kids & Counting star’s devices, including a video of infants being abused.
The trial began on Tuesday, November 30, and Jill was named as a witness. Jill may testify about her brother’s molestations. If you didn’t know, Josh previously admitted to molesting several of his sisters when he was a teenager. Though it’s too late for him to go to prison for the molestations, they may be used during the trial to show he would have a motive to download the disgusting content.
As we reported already, Derick Dillard has been attending Josh’s trial, but Jill has not been to court to testify yet.
So, fans understand why things are hard for Jill and the rest of the family right now. There is a lot going on, and the subject of Josh’s trial is very heavy.
Jill Dillard makes time for ‘therapy.’
Fortunately, Jill is prioritizing “therapy” to take care of herself and her two sons during this time. In a few new Instagram stories on Sunday, Jill revealed that she and her family visited the pet store to hang out with the puppies. She wrote, “We visited the pet shop today to love on the cute puppies.”
In a conversation with her husband, the Duggar daughter asked, “It’s definitely good therapy, right?”
She shared a cute snap of Samuel hanging out with a puppy and giving her lots of love. Jill explained, “We’re hanging out with the little English bulldog, she’s so cute. She’s tired though,the boys did a good job of wearing her out.”
After the outing, Jill and Derick went home to spend time with their dog, Fenna. They adopted Fenna from the local shelter earlier this year. Derick is sitting in one chair outside while Fenna stands on a chair beside him.
