‘1000-Lb. Sisters’: Michael Halterman Shows Soft, Supportive Side
1000-Lb. Sisters star Michael Halterman showed a soft and supportive side fans do not normally get to see during tonight’s episode. Truthfully, Amy’s husband isn’t a big talker on the series. So, fans were pleasantly surprised to see this side of her life partner tonight. What did Michael do that has fans swooning for him? Keep reading for the spoilers.

Michael Halterman shows soft, supportive side for his wife
Amy Halterman has an emotional breakdown during tonight’s episode. The breakdown comes after she makes the decision to hire home organizers to help her get control of her house. While the organizers are there, she discovers a dead mouse in the pantry. This sends her over the edge and she exits the home to collect herself. Breaking down and beginning to cry, her husband comes outside with her to offer comfort.
Michael Halterman reminds his wife that she isn’t the only one with this type of problem. He insists there are plenty of people in the same shoes they are in. Moreover, he points out that she takes care of her son all day. When she’s done taking care of her son, she just wants to rest. And, there’s nothing wrong with that. Michael also points out the home is tiny and there is a fear of waking Gage back up by trying to clean when he’s asleep.
Michael Halterman continues to reassure his wife that they can deal with their bug and rodent problem after they get the house clean. He insists it was as easy as reaching out to an exterminator.
Amy’s husband encourages her she made the right decision
Michael Haterlam recognized that having these people in the house while it was so filthy was hard and embarrassing. But, they were in a position where they really needed some help. And, he did what he could to reassure his wife she shouldn’t feel bad for coming to that decision.
Overall, Michael did what he could to reassure his wife things would get better.
