Could Jim Bob Duggar be keeping secrets about his family? After home security cameras were spotted in an older family video, critics are wondering what they are used for and why the family installed them. Some even speculate that they could hold some of the family’s secrets.
As we’ve reported, Josh is currently in the midst of a child pornography trial. He was arrested in the spring. Due to the nature of the case, it’s possible that his prior molestations could be used against him. This would show proof of a motive and that Josh didn’t download the explicit content by accident.
Jim Bob was asked to testify as a witness in an evidentiary hearing on Monday. He claimed he didn’t remember the details of Josh’s molestation. So, he didn’t share much information at all. However, something has surfaced, making critics wonder whether they are holding family secrets.

A Christmas tour video from 2014 has surfaced again, and it has Duggar Snarks talking. In the video, there are security cameras visible throughout the family’s home. On Reddit, critics are speculating the purpose of the security cameras.
One Reddit user asks, “A security camera inside the house. Hmmm why would they need that?” Someone guesses, “I think it’s a mix of watching who comes into the house for security reasons and spying on the kids to keep them in line.”
Unfortunately, we don’t really know why the Duggars really have security cameras. Who knows what could be hiding on them?
Just a couple of weeks ago, the Duggar family recently hosted a gathering to promote Jim Bob’s State Senate campaign. In the photos shared during the event, the cameras are still visible in several places throughout the house. So, it looks like these security measures have remained in place this whole time. For events like this, which included more than 200 people, it would make sense to have a security system in place.

They stated on the Megan Kelly interview in 2014/15 that they instilled several rules including no boys in girls quarters, no girls sitting on boys laps, other things and they also stated that they installed security cameras to provide accountability & deterrence of sinful behavior. I think it i was in one of their books as well. They aren’t in the bathroom or anything like that but other areas yes. Besides MANY families have home security cameras like ring, nanny cans stuff like that.
