Astrid Loch, Kevin Wendt Welcome First Child, Shy About Details
Bachelor fan-favorite couple Astrid Loch and Kevin Wendt have welcomed a new member of the family home. The couple met on Bachelor in Paradise, Season 5. They had a bit of a rocky start but by the reunion, they worked it out and made Bachelor nation fall in love with them all over again. Both have shared from the beginning they’ve always wanted to be parents.
Astrid shared a lot about her fertility journey. She had a rough go of it and wanted everyone to know IVF is no joke. She shared she wanted to take the stigma away from talking about it.
Fans loved that she shared so much. They loved being there for the couple as they experienced their journey and finally were able to get pregnant. She regularly gave bump updates. Kevin sweetly shared, “our baby is going to be so lucky to have you as a mom. Can’t wait.”

Astrid Loch posted, “my whole world. Born 11/20/2021 & finally home with the rest of the @thewendtgang.” She went on to say she was sorry to keep everyone waiting. They wanted some time for themselves first. It’s understandable since the road to birth wasn’t the easiest for them.
The picture on Astrid’s page is of her holding the babies’ arm. The baby is wearing a tan thermal onesie. In her Instagram story, she shared a picture holding the little hand next to their dog. She said, “it doesn’t get better than this.”
Kevin Wendt also posted on his Instagram. He said, “November 20th, 2:02 am @astridloch made my dreams come true. She is my absolute hero for everything she went through the last 2 days in the hospital.”
In the picture with their new baby, it’s just Kevin’s tattooed arm holding the little nugget in a black onesie and brown cap. He went on to say he was so proud of Astrid for their, “perfect munchkin.”

Bachelor nation sent tons of love to Astrid Loch and Kevin. Bryan Abasolo said, “amazing, what a blessing! Congrats you guys!” Lauren Zima said, “Soooo many congrats!!! Love to you both!”
Becca Kufrin said, “This melts my heart, congrats to your beautiful, healthy growing family ❤️ such a joy, soak it all in!”
Fans also shared their joy. One said, “Ooooh I was thinking there might be a reason for your silence ☺️ Congratulations mama.” Lots of fans and friends shared hearts and happiness for the happy occasion.
