Sobbyn Robyn Brown Feels ‘Hopeless,’ Marriage With Kody ‘Suffering’
The Season 16 Premiere of Sister Wives is already available for streaming on Discovery+ and Sobbyn Robyn Brown — as fans have affectionately nicknamed her — wasted no time with the waterworks. While she didn’t exactly burst into full-on tears in the first episode of Season 16, she expressed she was upset. And, she was clearly fighting back a few tears as she spoke to the camera during a confessional.
Sobbyn Robyn Brown Feels Hopeless, Marriage With Kody Is Suffering
At the very beginning of tonight’s episode, things pick up right where Season 15 ended. Kody is sitting in a circle with his wives as they discuss building on the property. Christine Brown admits she doesn’t really want to build on the land. Turns out, she’s miserable in Flagstaff. She wants to move back to Utah. She wants to be closer to family.
Unfortunately for Christine, the rest of the family seems to shut down the idea. Robyn Brown even notes that while she likes the idea of living in Utah and she does have some family there too… She isn’t interested in uprooting her home. Robyn wants to settle. She isn’t interested in living a transient lifestyle with her family.
Robyn Brown makes it clear that she does try to validate and understand what Christine is feeling. But, she isn’t happy continuing to move her family as someone who still has small children.
During her confessional, Sobbyn Robyn Brown admits that she feels helpless by the current situation. She’s stuck in a place where she feels as though it is a matter of choosing sides. And, she’s worried choosing sides is causing her own marriage and relationship with Kody Brown to suffer.
Christine sees Kody and Robyn as functional, perfect
Christine Brown admits during the Season 16 Premiere of Sister Wives that Kody has a completely functional and happy marriage with Robyn. And, she isn’t happy with sitting in a house in a different plot of land on Coyote Pass and watching him be happy with someone else. She admits this isn’t the type of marriage she is looking for.
