Season 16 hints that their polygamous family is falling apart. In the new season, Robyn suggests that they should start thinking about their future building plans. Christine has trouble with it because she’s not happy in their marriage. Ultimately, Kody rejected her idea to move back to Utah.

The patriarch is gung-ho about staying in Coyote Pass. From there, they have to think about how they’re going to build on the property. They already wasted so much money moving over the years. It’s any wonder if they’ll ever be able to build their dream homes on Coyote Pass.

Meri Brown thinks Kody is manipulating their plans

In the Sister Wives Season 16 premiere, the Brown family thinks about their next move. Robyn says she would love to live in Utah. She wants their move to Flagstaff to be their last and final move. Robyn sides with Christine’s desire to move to Utah, but she also feels that it’s time to settle down.

The family meets with the surveyor at Coyote Pass. Kody tells his surveyor his plans to create five lots, including one for himself. Only Janelle is on board with the idea because she jokes she gets sick of him. Christine thinks it’s just going to cost them more money.

Kody asks the surveyor which is the best way to divide the land. The guy agrees with everything the Sister Wives star says. The surveyor thinks Kody’s plan is the best one. Meri Brown says in her confessional that she thinks Kody secretly met with the guy before the wives met with him. She also accused her husband of manipulating their building plans.

According to her, Kody convinced the guy to agree with him. Meri Brown is certain that Kody asked the guy to encourage his wives to go along with his plans. As Sister Wives fans know, Kody wants to have control over his wives. Since he couldn’t get his dreams of having a big house, this could be another way of him getting what he wants.

Kody knows he’s the odd man out. So, if he could get another guy to side with him, it could work in his favor. His wives wouldn’t get any say. The surveyor just backed up what Kody said so they could follow through with his plans.

The Sister Wives Season 16 premiere airs Sunday, November 21 at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
