What Is Hallmark’s Sugar Plum Twist About?
According to the Hallmark press release, after failing to get the coveted role of the Sugar Plum Fairy in this year’s production of The Nutcracker, Vivíana Serrano (Rosguer), an aspiring ballerina, joins forces with Natalia (Hyder), a retiree from the New York Ballet.
They work together, with the help of the lighting designer Mateo (Rivera). Moreover, Natalia spends time with Viví’s big, loving Puerto Rican family. In addition, she encourages Viví to bring her Latin dance training to her ballet.
Together, they create a surprise reprise of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy…with a twist.

Starting Thursday, December 2, you can watch Sugar Plum Twist at any time you choose, because it will be streaming on the Hallmark Now channel. In addition, if you want to see Every Time A Bell Rings, another you need to subscribe to Hallmark Now.
However, according to the published Hallmark schedule, Sugar Plum Twist will air on the Hallmark Channel on Friday, December 17, at 8 p.m. Eastern. Currently, Hallmark does list any other broadcasts on their regular channel.
