Mykelti Padron has Sister Wives fans wondering what happened to baby Avalon’s hair. Fortunately, Kody and Christine Brown’s daughter noticed fans expressing concern for Avalon’s hair. Mykelti Padron shares more of baby Avalon
Sister Wives fans are eternally grateful as Mykelti Padron has been sharing a lot more photos and videos of baby Avalon these days on Instagram. Unfortunately for the TLC personality, all of the extra sharing has come with a lot of mom-shaming.
As we previously reported, Mykelti caught some serious heat after sharing a video of baby Avalon playing with cherry tomatoes. Mykelti reassured fans she was watching her daughter and Avalon was completely safe. But, fans pointed out that didn’t make cherry tomatoes any less of a choking hazard.
Now, every time Mykelti shares a video or photo of her daughter she preemptively tries to combat what she thinks trolls and mom-shamers might say. Unfortunately for her, it doesn’t really stop the backlash from coming.
Baby Avalon’s hair: Sister Wives fans wonder what happened
Mykelti Padron shared a photo yesterday of herself wearing her baby girl Avalon. The proud mother discussed how much she appreciated having the option to wear Avalon. It allowed her to get stuff done around the house while still being close to her daughter.
She explained: “I love baby carriers because they just make me feel so human and normal again. I still have my baby attached to my hip (quite literally) but I have hands and I am able to do things for work and around my house again.”
As Mykelti Padron shares more and more photos and videos of baby Avalon, fans noticed she’s looking a bit different these days. For starters, she’s is a pretty chunky little baby! Fans admit this is relieving as it wasn’t that long ago that Mykelti scared everyone by admitting Avalon had actually been losing weight.
The biggest change, however, is baby Avalon’s hair. Fans noticed her hair is significantly lighter than it was when she was born. Sister Wives fans speculated all the reasons why her hair lightened up. Some wondered if the little one just spent a lot of time in the sun. Others clarified their curiosity about her hair wasn’t intended to be judgemental.
Mykelti Padron reassures fans, explains why
For the most part, Mykelti Padron does a pretty fabulous job engaging with her Instagram followers. She responds to tons of comments, addresses concerns, and answers questions. She was quick to respond to several comments questioning baby Avalon’s hair.
Mykelti Padron schooled fans on Avalon’s hair lightening. She noted that it was a very common thing that was perfectly normal. Responding to a different fan, Mylekti also reminded fans that while Tony does have dark hair… She has light hair. So, Avalon’s hair is just looking less like daddy’s hair and more like mommy’s hair these days.

Wow. Why do people think they have a right to make comments based on assumptions. I have 4 children 2 girls and a boy from my ex husband and a girl with my partner. The older 3 were born with very little hair which was dark, within weeks they had even less or none. All 3 went from dark to strawberry blonde to blonde and they remained blonde until puberty and slowly reverted back to their birth colour. My fourth was born strawberry blonde and is the same colour at 15. Whatever our eyebrow colour is will be our natural hair colour. People who assume usually assume wrong. Stop judging other people parenting and concentrate on your own.
