Greg Grippo, Andrew Spencer Share Thoughts On Katie Thurston, Blake Moynes Split
It’s been nearly a month since The Bachelorette Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes broke up. Fans of the show know that Katie was really into Greg Grippo while filming. Everyone believed Greg would win until he was accused of gaslighting her and self eliminated. She was also really into Andrew Spencer who many wanted to see her reconnect with. Now that Katie is no longer engaged, Greg and Andrew are speaking out about how they feel about the split. Plus, Greg even revealed the true feelings he had for Katie while on the show.
Greg Grippo shares thoughts on Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes
US Weekly shared what Greg Grippo had to say about Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes ending their engagement. Greg actually feels bad for the pain Katie is no doubt going through. He said, “I mean, honestly, my heart goes out to her for whatever happened.” Greg continued, “I have no idea. We haven’t spoken, honestly. I just wish the best for her. I know it’s probably pretty difficult what happened.”
Greg admits he hasn’t spoken to Katie. He did have positive things to say about Blake. He said, “Blake’s a great guy though. I really like Blake honestly. Blake’s awesome, Blake’s awesome. He’s a really great guy.”
Andrew Spencer also shares thoughts on the breakup
Andrew doesn’t seem too surprised that Katie and Blake called it quits. He worked overseas as a professional football player so understands that distance can be rough. He said, “I think the distance definitely was very prominent, and we knew that.” Andrew continued, “I mean, I knew for a fact that it doesn’t really work from prior experience in my dating life, and you know, they probably weren’t seeing each other during the show because of trying to keep confidentiality. And then the next thing you know, he’s going to Africa, so I was like, ‘Hmm, could be a little shaky,’ but you never know with those things. But I didn’t see it going very long for sure.”
Unlike Greg Grippo, Andrew has spoken to Katie recently. He said their conversation was very healthy and cordial. When he spoke to her he told her he shared words of wisdom and wanted her to know there are people who care.
He also noted he wishes the best for both Katie and Blake going forward.
Greg Grippo’s true feelings for Katie Thurston
US Weekly also recently shared Greg’s real feelings towards Katie. According to the report, Greg did indeed fall for Katie. He said, “I didn’t think that this was going to happen between [Katie] and I. I didn’t think that I was going to go on and absolutely fall in love with the person.” He continued, “I think the odds of that are very slim to none. I think only a select few are able to feel and really build something with the person that’s there.”
Greg feels like he did learn some valuable lessons from his time with Katie.
