Former Counting On star Jeremy Vuolo shared some insight into his daughters’ names, revealing a new pronunciation for one of them. For those who don’t know, Jeremy and his wife, Jinger, share two daughters, Felicity, 3, and Evangeline, almost 1. Evangeline will celebrate her birthday in November.

Fans haven’t heard too much about the girls, however, and it’s because Jinger and Jeremy have started giving them more privacy. They rarely post pictures of their daughters online. When they do, they block out their faces. So, that explains why fans have not seen much about them.

Now, Jeremy is finally sharing more about their girls. And he made an interesting comment that has fans and critics talking.

Jeremy Vuolo Explains His Daughters’ Names

In a new Instagram post, Jeremy shared a video of himself talking about his daughters’ names and how they chose them. Interestingly, the father to two seemed to change the pronunciation of Evangeline’s name from what they used when she was born.

On Reddit, one user shared a video featuring three clips of the Vuolos saying Evangeline’s name. One is from the recent video Jeremy posted online, while the other two videos were taken shortly after the baby was born. There’s a noticeable difference between the pronunciations of the little one’s name. In the new video, Jeremy says, “Ee-van-juh-LEEN.”

In the previous videos, Jinger and Jeremy both say, “Ee-van-juh-LINE.” The video makes the distinction pretty obvious.

Jeremy doesn’t mention this or offer an explanation in his video, but plenty of fans and critics are noticing. In the comments section of Jeremy’s video, someone points it out, writing, “I’m surprised you changed the pronunciation of Evangelines name.”

His change in the pronunciation seems to prove that he now knows he was saying his daughter’s name wrong for nearly the entire first year of her life.

One Reddit user writes, “I one hundred percent think that they thought that they were pronouncing it correctly and now realize that they weren’t.”

Someone else jokes, “It worked y’all. We bullied them into the correct pronunciation.”

So, what do you think changed for Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo? Do you think they were corrected or changed their minds? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
