Johnstons return for another season
When dropping their winter schedule, TLC confirmed that Amber, Trent, and their five kids – Jonah, Elizabeth, Anna, Alex, and Emma – will return. 7 Little Johnstons continues with Season 10, starting on Tuesday, November 16.
To gear up fans, the official TLC Instagram posted what was meant to be a cute video. The clip features the family dancing with the caption “Us coming back to TV for an all new season.”
However, the video didn’t go over well with some fans, who expressed frustration with the parents.

While 7 Little Johnstons fans are excited to see the kids, they are less excited to see Amber and Trent. Viewers flooded the TLC Instagram comment section with thoughts on another season of the parents.
Some of the most negative comments were aimed at Amber. “I won’t be watching anymore! Mother is mean. We don’t care for her style. Treat all the kids the same, you’ll go further.,” one follower wrote.
While Trent didn’t get any specific comments directed at him, one person wrote, “The older kids yes…. Parents nope!!! Unless I could give them parent classes!!!”
Another follower commented, “Kids are great, the parents – Nope,” which seems to be the consensus among Amber and Trent haters.
7 Little Johnstons viewers take issue with how Amber and Trent treat their adopted children differently from their biological children, especially Anna.
How many episodes are in Season 10?
The family Instagram shared the same video as TLC. The comments on the @team7lj Instagram were vastly more positive. Additionally, whoever runs the official Instagram interacted with fans, dropping hints about Season 10.
One fan complained that the seasons were too short, with only 5 or 6 episodes. 7 Little Johnstons fans will be happy then to know that Season 10 is 8 episodes. “8 episodes…it’s what they order. No struggle, just reality,” the official account replied.

I’ve watched this show only a couple of times. I watched last week and one of the kids got a new kitten. They way it was treated was basically abusive. The worst was when the kitten was put in a dark closet for the night. From what I’ve seen of this show, it’s a waste of airtime and should be cancelled.
Please take Trent and Amber off if you want this show to continue, they could not get the older kids out of the house fast enough.treated the son so bad about not moving out .I felt so bad for him, after all the house was big enough for all of them until he could get a good start for himself,and now going to take in another boy, hope he knows what he is getting into.Trent thinks he is too darn smart to hear any thing the kids say, Cannot stand him and Amber
Amber & Trent are the best parents any child (especially their own) could ever hope to have. That’s because their parents fall in the same category & they learned from the best.
Why do the Johnston’s have to use all styrofoam for every meal? Don’t they know they can use paper which is biodegradable? I may have to boycott this show !
I agree with that. I don’t think they should even use paper. I think they also use plastic utensils. They have a dishwasher so why can’t they use regular dishes?
