‘My 600-Lb. Life’ Season 10: Julian Valentine Update, Where Is He Now?
Tonight’s episode of My 600-Lb. Life Season 10 features Julian Valentine and his beautiful wife Irma. Julian weighs in at 830-Lbs. My 600-Lb. Life Season 10, Episode 2 Introduces Julian Valentine
My 600-Lb. Life Season 10, Episode 2 tells the story of Julian Valentine and his wife Irma. Julian and his wife Irma believe he will weigh in around 750 pounds. But, they admit they have no idea what his actual weight is. And, they fear it could be even higher than they expect.
At his first appointment with Dr. Now, his fear becomes a reality when he weighs in at 830-Lbs. Dr. Now admits Julian has possibly the highest BMI he’s ever seen on the show.
Getting real with Julian and his wife Irma, Dr. Now admits that Julian is rolling the dice every day he continues to live at his current weight. He adds that Julian needs to drop a significant amount of weight and he needs to do it as quickly as possible. Dr. Now notes that every night Julian goes to sleep there is a chance he just won’t wake up at this current weight.

The TLC Cast Member Struggles To Keep Weight Off
Initially, the plan is for Julian Valentine to go to a local clinic after being on Dr. Now’s diet for two months. Dr. Now admits that he should be able to lose 200 pounds in two months on his diet. But, he would be happy with seeing him lose 100 pounds. When Julian steps on the scale, it is unable to read his weight. The clinic informs in the scale reads up to 800 pounds. So, this means Julian either lost less than 30 pounds or he actually gained weight.
Julian Valentine, however, does not agree with this update on his weight. He argues the scale might be broken. Isn’t willing to accept it. This mishap pushes him in the right direction and he ends up losing about 136 pounds at his next appointment two months later. With this weight loss, Dr. Now approves him to move to Houston. Says that he’ll accept him in the program. But, he needs to continue to drop pounds to get the surgery.
After getting to Texas, Julian Valentine goes to Dr. Now to check in and see where his weight is. Things take a nosedive as Julian learns he’s gained nearly all of the weight he lost back as he weighs in just under 800 pounds.
Julian Valentine insists he has no idea what is going on because he follows the diet. Dr. Now, however, argues the scale and numbers don’t lie. If Julian was following the diet, he would be dropping pounds. Dr. Now gives him another two months to get his numbers back down so he can get approved for weight loss surgery. Dr. Now also encourages Irma to join her husband on his diet to make it easier on him.
Moving To Texas Tests This Couple
Moving to Texas was NOT easy on Irma and Julian. During the drive, the trailer her brother was using to pull all their belongings broke. The couple was unable to find a solution to the problem. So, they were forced to sort through their belongings, pack what they could in the vehicles they had, and leave the rest on the side of the road. Making things worse, it was getting dark and there was a huge storm with a tornado rolling in.
This was really the first moment in the episode fans saw the couple fight as they struggled to decide what items to keep and what items to let go of.
Does Julian Valentine Get His Surgery?
The episode came to an end with Julian Valentine getting his surgery. Dr. Now admitted it was a pretty complicated surgery because of the hernia. Dr. Now was forced to do a partial repair along with the gastric sleeve because there wasn’t enough time to do a full repair.
The episode had a pretty beautiful ending as Irma and her husband Julian went out on a date for the first time in a very long time. Moreover, Julian was driving himself places for the first time in nearly a decade thanks to the progress he had made.
Have There Been Any Updates On Him?
Irma Valentine does have an Instagram profile. But, it appears to be private. It also is very inactive with just a handful of posts as a couple of followers. If the couple has Facebook profiles, they have yet to be uncovered by fans.
So, there isn’t much of an update on how Julian Valentine is doing or where he is now. But, things looked hopeful for him and his wife as the episode came to an end!
