Does Robyn Brown feel responsible for Christine leaving?

US Weekly shared what a source has said about Robyn’s feelings regarding Christine leaving their family. Robyn joined the family in 2010, the same year Season 1 of Sister Wives premiered. Even back then Christine made it clear she wasn’t sure about the possibility of adding a fourth wife to their group.

At the time Christine said, “I don’t wanna be a boat rocker, and I don’t like my boat rocked.” She continued, “I’m a little hesitant to accept another wife. But if it happens, then she just has to be absolutely amazing. Otherwise, it might be a little difficult.”

A precursor to current events? Sources shared recently that Robyn indeed played a role in Christine’s decision to leave Kody. The source had said,  “She’s been in the process of leaving him for a while.” They continued, “The big reason why she split from him is because Kody has been completed devoted to Robyn for the past five or six years. That hasn’t changed at all.”

The world seems to know that Robyn played a role in this split but does Robyn? According to an inside source, Robyn does indeed know she played a role in the separation. They said, “She secretly knows that she’s the one to blame for the separation, so obviously there’s some guilt there.”

Moving forward

The source also added that Robyn hopes she and Christine can have some sort of friendship moving forward.

Christine’s decision to leave comes after being with Kody Brown for 25 years. The two will continue to co-parent their youngest daughter who is 11. Both Kody and Christine have spoken out with nothing but respect for one another announcing their relationship was ending. However, none of the other wives have spoken yet.

Christine and Kody were never legally married. Meri was originally married to Kody. However, he divorced her when so he could marry Robyn and adopt her three children.

What do you think about Robyn feeling some guilt for Christine’s decision to leave?

Sister Wives Season 16 premieres on TLC Sunday, November 21, at 10 p.m. E.T.

  1. Yes, it is definitely Robyn’s fault that the family broke up! From the beginning, when Robyn appeared in the pictures, the other “wives” have clearly been left aside in Kody’s life.
I thought that Meri would get enough of it first, but she is used to living on her own, so maybe it took this “head up” thing because of that.
Robyn is to blame, that’s what you asked!!!
